Bernie denounced and condemned it while still accepting all of the votes Russia sent his way, telling his supporters he was going to win the nomination. If Trump denounced it would it really make a difference to you lefties? No.

Since the goal of Russia is to continue the entertainment of current United States politics to distract their own people, trying to support Sanders is most likely because the think it'll cause more spectacle than not.

Can you imagine the spectacle of a Sanders vs. Trump general?

I'm not sure what their goal is - it might be that they actually want Sanders as president. But then, they apparently wanted Trump as president.
Assuming for the moment that both are the case, then clearly they don't give a flying **** about our ideologies, but rather something else.

What would the left want Trump to do, say meaningless words that he is not going to let it happen, like Obama set red lines in the sand and disregarded them, like when Obama's intelligence told him that Russia was trying to interfere in our elections and Obama told Russia to please stop and eventually told his people to stand down and let it happen? I must point out however, that Democrats picked up seats in the midterms so Trump & Co must have done something to slow Russian interference. But, your question is a good one. What can Bernie do? Nothing. What can Trump do, not much. The left are only interested in lip service while the problem continues on. Bernie denounces the Russian interference propping him up while counting the votes and delegates that Russia gave him and telling his supporters that he is going on to win the nomination, even if it was Russia who helped him win it. The honorable thing for Bernie to do would be to drop out to show Russia that he refuses to be the benefactor of their help.

And there is no indication of collusion, which is "secret or illegal cooperation or conspiracy, especially in order to cheat or deceive others."

What makes you believe that Trump getting reelected would be their end game versus a Bernie Sanders? Of the potential candidates with a chance to win Bernie is the lone Dove. I would imagine Bernie would be the #1 favorite of any dictator on the planet as he would be the least likely to initiate an offensive war (See Iraq and Saddam Hussein)
