Tell that to the Iranians.
What have they done?
Tell that to the Iranians.
Well, in the scenario presented, American intelligence would say that Iran has the nukes.
Russia is an ally of Iran and would reasonably say its intelligence services state Iran has no nukes.
Who to believe? American or Russian intelligence services.
What have they done?

Iran may attack Israel if U.S. standoff escalates: Israeli minister
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli cabinet minister warned on Sunday of possible direct or proxy Iranian attacks on Israel should the stand-off between Tehran and Washington escalate.
The United States has increased economic and military pressure on Iran, with President Donald Trump on Thursday urging its leaders to talk to him about giving up their nuclear program and saying he could not rule out an armed confrontation.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, which supports Trump’s hard tack against its arch-foe, has largely been reticent about the spiraling tensions.
Parting with the silence, Israeli Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz said that, in the Gulf, “things are heating up”.
“If there’s some sort of conflagration between Iran and the United States, between Iran and its neighbors, I’m not ruling out that they will activate Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad from Gaza, or even that they will try to fire missiles from Iran at the State of Israel,” Steinitz, a member of Netanyahu’s security cabinet, told Israel’s Ynet TV.
COMMENT:-
And if the Iranians have the audacity to attempt to defend themselves from an American attack which is coordinated with and operated through Israel, then the Israeli "hard-liners" would be absolutely overjoyed to nuke Iran. The Iranians, of course, have absolutely no idea that this is what would happen.
If there's a war, they'll start it.

I haven't seen any indication that they want to start a war. Looks like we're the ones who are trying to push them into one.
We have vessels in international waters. That isn't an act of war.
I seriously doubt anyone in Israel would be "overjoyed" to use a nuke on Iran. From Reuters

What do you mean 'again' when it didn't happen in the first place. Is that you Alex?
I asked you what have they done to warrant such a threatening response. What did they do?
Obama gives Iran 1.7 billion in cash
Donald Trump is right: The U.S. did pay Iran $1.7 billion in cash - Los Angeles Times
The $1.8 billion
The Congressional Research Service, the nonpartisan analytic arm of Congress, reviewed this cash transfer in a 2018 report. It gave a total of $1.7 billion.
That was the amount that U.S. and Iranian negotiators settled on to resolve an arms contract between the United States and Iran that predated the Iranian revolution in 1979. Iran had paid for military equipment, and it was never delivered.
As of 1990, there were $400 million in that account. Negotiators agreed that accrued interest would add $1.3 billion to the amount, which is a lot of money — but 25 years is a long time for interest to build up the balance.
The United States sent the money to Iran in euros, Swiss francs and other currencies. Trump embellished when he mentioned barrels and boxes. Reports at the time said the money was packed and loaded onto pallets, similar to how other bulk goods are shipped.

So is Saudi Arabia. But their our 'friends'.
What article? This isn't nearly the same situation as 1990.
Who will 'we' believe? LOL! Are you kidding me? The Russians of course. That's whom our own President has been believing all along
U.S. vessels crusing in international waters isn't a "response" any more than it was when Obama was sent a carrier task force into the Persian Gulf.

2011–12 Strait of Hormuz dispute - Wikipedia
The United States Navy has had pretty much a permanent presence in those waters for decades.
All of a sudden President Trump deploys a strike force to the gulf, just like the past 5 presidents have done and it's the end times.
Then don't worry about. They will tell us Iran is honoring the agreement and that's it. Trump will ignore American intelligence to the contrary.
At least, a per theory.
But you feel compelled to claim that "leftists" (oh scuse me, Democrats) "will be screaming that Trump has to attack immediately else it proves how unpatriotic he is-- trusting Russian intelligence ahead of American."
Do I need to read all your posts back to you?
Like I said, how far up is your head, really?
