So, all the people who hated the Iranian nuclear deal will probably love whatever Trump cooks up with NK. And, the opposite will also be true: people who supported Obama's deal with Iran will hate what Trump does with Kim.

So, one has to wonder, would not both deals either be good or suck? In essence you are either for nuclear agreements with untrustworthy regimes or you are against them.

Take off the partisan goggles and give that a through.

Aren't you being a wee bit premature? As of this morning I have not heard of a NK/US deal.

Assuming one is done, it will be no different than the Iran deal. Bribe and verify.

Trump already said his goal was to make NK rich. So, it doesn't take a genius to know where that is going.

I believe it would be best to simply leave NK alone. Iran is one of the few countries I would be worried about acquiring a nuke however.

You know that how?

How do you know? We don't know what the frigging deal even is yet. If it lets NK do pretty much whatever they want without invasive, intrusive inspections, and gives them billions of dollars as repayment for sanctions as if they had invested in a US bank and got interest in the deal, then I SERIOUSLY doubt that anyone that isn't a Trump sycophant, like the Obama sycophants support the Iran deal, would condemn the NK deal, just as we condemned the Obama/Iran sweetheart deal.

Did you people see our grinning buffoon of a President with reporters after the meeting with the former head if not current head of the N. Korean Intelligence Services? Are you kidding me? Trump is a grinning buffoon, a complete and total fraud.

"Brought a very interesting letter". Two nanoseconds later..."I have not read the letter". Really...so again Donald, how interesting was that very interesting letter that you have not read?

I grinning buffoon.,,,,a fraud. We can kid ourselves all we want. THAT is what we have sitting in the Oval Office.

I know. Trump is a sucker. And, I have no doubt he is being played.

You are calling people partisan for thinking something they haven't even thought yet because the NK deal isn't even done yet? That's kind of funny. You need to be a deeper thinker. Just because two deals are nuclear deals doesn't mean we have to like both or neither. If a deal does get done with North Korea, it's almost guaranteed to be vastly different than Iran. There are wildly different variables in play.

This is a complete joke only about a very serious topic. We have scared to death doves in this country anxious about a threat that really does not exist combined with Bombs Away Bolton Hawks that really want to go on the Korean Peninsula regardless of the consequences. In the meantime our President bounces back and forth between a Bombs Away perspective and looking like somebody slipped him a couple of quaaludes when in fact the right tone for anything to do with a so called N. Korean Summit or meeting was always somewhere in between.

Now just as he did that night in the WH when the S. Korean diplomates came calling, Trump has agreed formally that the meeting is on again as soon as the N. Korean head of Intelligence, a ruthless killer if ever there was one showed up in the driveway of the WH. Trump looking again like somebody slipped him a couple of quaaludes.

This is utterly and completely ridiculous, a fraud, a sham. Its embarrassing to be this hopelessly incompetent, this shamelessly inept and so completely vulnerable while we puff out our chest and talk about America First and MAGA and various and sundry other nonsense. We are a joke. Putin wants a summit now, enemies lining up licking their chops to get at Trump the buffoon who castigates allies while groveling to authoritarians. Trump literally has no clue.

Trump has already lost in this "negotiation" and he is so oblivious he does not even know it yet.
