He was just fine with Obama creating more national debt than all other presidents combined and Democrats want to add tens of trillions more debt in free everything. So it has nothing to do with fiscal reasons. It has to do with the demographics of his district changing. That is always the only real reason anyone switches political parties.

There is no under estimating the number of lies the Democratic Party will tell or the TDS dementia of many Democrats to believe what they even know to be lies. Truth not only is irrelevant to the Democratic Party. To the Democratic Party truth is the #1 enemy.

When John McCain and George H.W. Bush died, we lost two of the few such Republicans. With this defection there will be one fewer such Republican still.

Glad he made the change. The Democratic party is our big-tent party, with room for everyone from Joe Manchin to Ocasio-Cortez!

Pretty soon the only thing the republicans will be able to rely on is their pet news network and narrow interest patronage networks that already exist.

Ok, so you have other reasons that you won't share, good enough. But lets agree that growing up, getting a job and having kids was not the reason.

No, not the reason per say, but maturing, having responsibilities and basically getting a "real life" education as to which party was more in with our best interest was.

And yet decades later you still support them in spite of decades of evidence to the contrary and you may even be old enough to be a socialist or are you refusing the liberal communist plots of SS and Medicare? Sorry buddy, anyone who turned to the right from the left did so for reasons most of them would never admit to the public or themselves.
