Ingraham's multi- stupid "shut up and dribble " comment.

Bud, you are so misguided that you don't ever realize it. "Trumpism" has really impacted you in a very negative and destructive way....:(

First and foremost, Lebron is a citizen of the United States of America. As such, he is free to speak his mind. His occupation is irrelevant. He gets EVERY privledge that Ingraham enjoys. Period. To think otherwise is simply absurd.

Comparing LeBron James, a millionaire with an average joe Garbage man making 30-50 k is laughable.

Nobody is saying LeBron James doesn't have the right to do so. He however is using the platform given to him by the Cavs, NBA, NBA fans, etc to make derogatory statements.

Typically Vetplus posts 3-5 consecutive anti-Trump posts in the evening. Many of his rants do not make much sense. He must get fired up after watching CNN or MSNBC and uses Debate politics as his release.

Says the delusional guy that wants to strip celebrities of their constitutional rights.....LMAO

Try defending your argument without going "Trumpstyle" for a change. You may have better results...............:)

Wait a minute. You are the one that said Trump should not tweet on twitter. Doesn't Trump have the constitutional right to do so?

Debate Boards. Forums, etc.,

You are very miss informed....arguing online has been a great use of my time, not only have I learned a lot but I have met lots of interesting people and I have gotten much better at arguing and it helps me to keep my mind fresh because the mind is a "use it or lose it" organ, I have had great fun a lot of the time....who ever told you that this has been a waste of my time is probably someone you should take with a grain of salt.

Actually Lebron is using the platform that his "celebrity" affored him. In EXACTLY the same manner as Trump did when he used to derrogatorily comment on politics constantly and BEFORE he ever became a candidate. (Remember the "birther" nonsense?) Where was your "pissing and moaning" about that? Where was Ingraham's?

I am starting to believe that you are not actually advocating that Lebron not be allowed to talk about Trump in a negative light. I actually think that you are simply worried that others might actually start LISTENING to what it is that he has to say. My guess is that if Lebron commented about Trump in a positive manner, you would have ZERO problem with it.

With Ingraham's comments, and you continuing "LAME" defefense, both are simply examples of more "Pro-Trump" hipocrisy.

Yet more "Pro-Trump" hipocrisy on vivid display.............:)

Actually, when LeBron made those statements he received backlash from the good people in Ohio. The Owner of the team received so much backlash it caused so much friction within that team they considered trading him.

You are seriously conflating TWO disctint issues. Just because some athletes/celebrities choose not to comment, doesn't not mean that they are forfeiting the constitutional rights of other athletes/celebrities to do so.

What if Ingraham (or anyone else for that matter) made the statement that folks in YOUR current occupation should not be allowed to comment on politics? Would you delete your Debate Politics account?

ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease

Right. I agreed that it was his right.

It's also the right of intelligent people to point out that Lebron is stupid and children should ignore the big dolt.

He has proven that you can dribble a ball with great skill and still be a half-wit.

Let us know when you find one.

So what? I realize that what he said knotted up your panties, but how many times do you need to be told that anybody, no matter what their job, is entitled to voice their opinion on a politician? Anybody. Maybe you're pissed because you don't see why his opinion is worth more than yours and nobody is holding a microphone in front of you and asking what you think about anything, but it's a cruel world that way. Andy Warhol didn't say you'd get 15 minutes of fame, he said in a perfect world you would.

Wait a minute. You are the one that said Trump should not tweet on twitter. Doesn't Trump have the constitutional right to do so?

I never said that Trump shouldn't tweet. Try again. I said he typically sounds "unhinged" when he does.

How's your ball-handling?

So if LeBron wants to quit basketball and become a contributor to the Undefeated with Jemele Hill, he is more than welcome to do that.

Jemele Hill. Hunh. Wonder why you think that he is only qualified to contribute with her?

You mean SOME of the "good people" in Ohio. Certainly not all. that said, if the team owner feels that Lebron's comments are a negative publicity and financial impact to the team, then the owner can address the issue withing the confines of Lebron's contract. If Lebron then chooses to agree to such "No public commenting on politics" clause, that is his right. Until such time as that occurs, he can criticize Trump all that he wants to.

Even if Lebron were to speak with such a clause, that is not a constitutional issue, but merely a contractual one.

I believe that it is you that remain very constitutionally uninformed. Lebron's occupation has ZERO relevance to his right as a citizen.

Garbage is a compliment.
She made her way outing gay people at college in her right wing student newspaper.
Sad world where such a low life person could become a "success" and idiots would listen to her blab.

She's a moderately attractive conservative who hates gay people.

What's not to love by the right? She doesn't have to know anything. As long as she is able to convert oxygen into carbon dioxide, she meets the criteria to be an expert on just about anything.

LeBron James was paid to play basketball. He needs to know his damn role and shut his mouth.

Dan Gilbert, the owner of the Cavs paid LeBron James to play basketball. He got paid $100 million to play basketball, not to use his platform to make irresponsible political statements.

LeBron James is under contract thus, the property of the Cavs. The fans who pay for LeBron's check only care about LeBron putting the ball in the hoop.

Last I heard, we abolished slavery. He is no one’s property. I suspect you have a problem with the messenger, not the message. Trump was paid to be a real estate investor. He decided it was his role to find out if Obama was a legit president. Would you apply the same standard to him that you do to NBA players?

Hmm.

Sounds like he’s kinda like...a slave.

Moderately is certainly a "reach" in my opinion. She does posses one of the most drab, monotone and unattractive female voices that I have ever heard. Almost as annoying as "Janice" on the old "Friends" sitcom.

Don't forget his guest spot on Teen Titans.

As I read the "back and forth" bantering between Lebron James and Laura Ingraham, a couple of things occured to me as to how stupid her comments really were.

1. As a citizen of the United States, our Constitution gives Lebron the right to criticize Trump. Her assertion that only those who are politicians or politcal pundits should make comments is absurd. Take a look at the various celebrities and "quasi celebrities" that Fox has welcomed when their respecting views comport with their "Pro Trump" party line. Phil Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" comes to mind.....LMAO

2. The "backdoor slam" about Lebron's high school education is ridiculous. There isn't one of us - her included - that wouldn't have encouraged our sons to follow the same course if they had exhibited the same type of basketball talent that Lebron exhibited at a very early age. Yes, Lebron gets paid a lot to "dribble a ball", but that does require a high degree of talent to do it in the NBA.

Now, those are just a few of the thoughts that occured to me. The problem that I have is that those that criticize Trump are as entitled to their comments as are those who praise Trump.

If Ingraham thinks that anyone who is a high school dropout or terminated their education at high school graduation should not have an opinion....

She just alienated 80% of her audience.

But she really meant ‘black people’, so that only excludes 1% of her audience...,

Dog whistles are real, people.

The most ironic part of her homophobia? Her brother is gay.

What a shameful human.

I wonder how her brother feels about her behavior? You'd think people would see things differently if they were closer to it, as in with a family member. Or, you know, human.
