In Georgia special election, can a Democrat get above 50%?

Is Bannon a millenial, since you divert to Bannon?

Showing an ad with Bannon and trump superimposed on Handel is a good idea, thanks .

Bannon has been your whipping boy. Off hand, I cannot think of one thing he has done to deserve your abusive attitude.

He raked in $10 million dollars

I don't know the average dollar amount but I doubt if many doners were registered to vote in that district

Are you sure it was $10 million? :lamo

And why whine about money when the GOP gave us Citizens Divided 1.0/2.0 and tore up McCain/Finegold ?

I don't expect a republican like you to own up to his comparison off Ossoff to the sad damn regime. Politics aren't a game and Republicks don't play.

Whatever man. I think it is clearly obvious that joke was directed at a media outlet and not the candidate. Chomsky got it. even ribbed me back on it, he's a fun guy, be more like Chomsky

Only in republiespeak is a 55,000 vote win a loss .

In a first past the post election this would certainly be a win, in a jungle primary it is definitely a first round loss, he ain't gonna run a 55,000 vote margin in June unless Handel like kicks a puppy a national TV

Sounds like Bannon is Kushner's whipping boy.

And now your fellow GOPs are tossing his alt-rightness under the bus .

The dems put on a big push to take a seat away from the republicans and it looks like they failed.

I am not displeased by this at all

Did I say he would win by 55,000 votes in June? You're new at this .

Did I say he would win by 55,000 votes in June? You're new at this .

so he's practically lost, because he couldn't secure a majority with an extreme funding advantage and divided opposition. as republicans unite behind the one candidate he's going to lose probably a 45-55 election.

It doesn't matter he doesn't live there now. and he should've had to prove a residence in the district before he was even allowed to be put on the ballot.

I grew up in Port Orchard and lived there until two years ago, I can't go to that legislative district and run for office there with this "home is where the heart is" crap.
And he's in good company with Jon Ossuf there....

You can't even spell Ossoff's name and you want to be taken seriously?

How do you know he's not eligible to run in this CD?

Think we'll see Newt, Price and Isakson over the next 9 weeks?

And I'm sure you're watching MT-AL .

Ossoff is the first of the millenial generation, has excited a new base in the South, has a fantastic ground game and an awesome small donor fund-raising machine.

As a pragmatic moderate who can speak without insulting others as trump did to him, he's attracting INDYs and causing thoughtful GOPs to take a 2nd look.

This is just the beginning, as GOPs also have MT-AL to worry about next month .

Montana latest poll: Republican +12
Alabama ... seriously?

I mean, there is a very slim chance that the Dems may win one of those.. but this isn't the narrative the Dems are looking for, is it? If they pick up a house seat in Alabama do they think that means they will flip Alabama is 2020?

And I'm sure you're watching MT-AL .

I'm watching... I have also watched the Democrats reading the tea leaves on Kansas and Georgia too, and you should probably slow your roll and stopping believing the Dem hype at this point. It will only end in tears for you.

No he was the recipient of millions of out of state dollars and a huge media/celebrity endorsement push in a desperate play to make a splash to embarrass Trump. he only got that money because the GOP had what, 18 candidates and so it was hoped that he could pull it of. He'll be a footnote in 4 years.

Are you sure the GOP had 18 candidates? :lamo

How many of the eleven GOPs were actually serious?

Are you aware of the smears the top 4 GOPs threw at each other, along with outside dark money smearing each of the main GOPs for another GOP ?

I'll catch the results on TV. I'm not seriously concerned Alabama is going dem. probably not Montana either.

You're intuitive grasp of the now obvious, is amazing! :2razz:

Was a real squeaker, though.

The X factor in this race are the continued lies and incompetence coming from trump and the GOP congress .

MT-AL means Montana at large--just trying to help you catch up .

See that's how little attention I'm paying, because I was following the election very closely for a year, now I'm on cruise control. I'm not following every single little race.

so yeah you got me, I'm paying almost no attention to these. they aren't my district and none are going to flip the house.

I'm certain Montana ain't flipping though. The Dems have done a pretty good job making themselves toxic to large parts of their former base.

Are you aware of the total amounts of money spent by Ossoff compared to the total amount of outside dark money that smeared Ossoff, not taking into account what the 4 main GOPs spent against Ossoff?

If you're correct about a 45/55 loss, that will be a gain of 14 points from Price winning 62-38.

To show how soft this Price seat is, he spent $2.34M to his opponent's zero .

AL means at large with respect to Montana.

The republican lost for governor and is a very unpopular billionaire from NJ trying to buy a seat. Quist is a folk legend in MT, whose total CD vote was over 500,000 last year, huge .

Talk **** after the run off. Spouting off before then is just premature.

I'm watching... I have also watched the Democrats reading the tea leaves on Kansas and Georgia too, and you should probably slow your roll and stopping believing the Dem hype at this point. It will only end in tears for you.

Which is why republick posters are countering and swarming all of these special elections--because they're not worried about DEMs outperforming their usual general election totals--in special elections where DEMs always do worse--except for 2017 .

Any reason why GOP billionaire Gianforte won't hold town halls, compared to those held by DEM Quist? Quist is certainly more like you than Guanforte us.

Are you saying this election is over ?

No.

The dem did get about half the vote so the repubs better not take the election for granted

But my party has become so stupid they may indeed give the seat away to a carpetbagger

How very OpportunityCost of you to come in here accusing me of talking **** while you engage in a drive-by talking **** .

If they pick up a house seat in Alabama do they think that means they will flip Alabama is 2020?
They've lost over 1000 seats since Obama was elected - now they're looking to send an important message by winning one or two back.

Please continue with the debunked carpetbagger lie.

It didn't work yesterday and it won't work in 62 days .
