I've read about "Coach Red Pill", or Gonzalo Lira, and haven't heard any particularly good things about him myself.

What I'm honestly curious, though, is why an individual who has had any in-person contact with more feminine sex that didn't (involve roofies, restraining orders, or both) would be desperate enough to watch Youtube videos by some rando instead of from a man who's actually been there and done it, rather than just "talked" about it like those Big Bang Theory guys

That's some pretty good research to get Coach Red Pill's actual identity. My main focus is making a list of risks in life, then mitigating those risks. I think most MGTOW guys are telling the truth about the difficulties they have run into. HOW to mitigate those risks is another matter. The responses that many MGTOWers have are overkill. For example, I tell my sexually active son to make sure his girlfriend sends him text messages offering/requesting sex before playing around. The consent issue is nothing to take chances with in North America. It may be a bad lesson to teach my son not to trust females in a relationship, but a rape accusation would be even worse.

Some MGTOW youtubers would recommend staying away from sex altogether. That's too extreme. Just list the risks and mitigate them.

Promoting censorship of ideas isn't very Libertarian. Personally, I like the discussion. Repression doesn't convince; discussion does. If you want domestic comfort, then you need to bring in enough coin to hire it. If you do that, you could be a good fit for some MGTOW guys. Can you hold your temper while he does risk management? If you and he both earn near the same income, it might work. You both could relegate minimum wage tasks ..... to minimum wage earners.
