I agree with your thread title, with one exception: if Trump breaks the law while in office, such as lying under oath like Bill Clinton did, then he could be Impeached and removed from office on that alone. If he’s removed from office due to some event or act that pre-dates his election and has nothing to do with his campaign for POTUS, then there will be an uprising of his supporters and the fallout will harm this country deeply.

There are so many lies in this OP its difficult to pick a place to begin.

Many of us wanted to believe the Trump presidency would work out, despite Trumps public track record of incompetence and pathological lying. We gave him a chance. He had the House, the Senate, the court, everything to make it work. Slowly but surely though, he's pissed it all away, with some of the most unpopular legislation in decades, and a WH that is a revolving door of chaos, dysfunction, corruption, and plain old stupidity. Most of the country that isn't caught up in his persona sees the situation for what it is; there is a an America outside of Trump country.

As for the investigation into Russian meddling, there is an endless list of odd coincidences and suspicious conduct (which have nothing to do with the Dossier) that most honest people acknowledge warrant inquiry. Maybe there was a conspiracy, maybe there was just some bad judgment on the part of Trump's surrogates. Either way, it was remarkably bad judgement for Sessions, Kushner, Don Jr, Flynn, Papa, Prince, etc, to all give some of the most blatantly misleading and false testimony to the Congress and FBI since Iran-Contra -- really stupid. Nobody made them lie, they are responsible for their actions, and so is Trump. They should have been self-aware enough to know that sooner or later, people were going to ask questions about whether they were played, or if they were conspiring.

Trump endlessly trying to shut down the investigation and involve himself in way as to try to conceal things like the meetings with Kremlin operatives at his hotel, reeks of an Iran-Contra/Watergate style cover-up. If he truly has done nothing wrong, then he should have welcomed an investigation. Hell, if I was in his shoes, I'd have personally encouraged the DOJ to investigate the matter in the name of transparency. Instead he foolishly meddles with the investigation, abusing his authority to try to shut it down. What does he (and his supporters) think it looks like?

As predicted, the witch hunt may have found some kind of information completely unrelated to “Russian interference,” which not being under Mueller’s writ, has been passed off to “local agency” to investigate. This resulted in the Cohen "raid" via possible money laundering or fund misuse from the Stormy Daniels sex scandal.

Now, it’s “Campaign fund misuse” and “money laundering,” or whatever other dirt may have been found that had nothing to do with the original investigation. This is exactly what all those in this Forum and out in public have been hoping for.

Well, if the President is forced from office for any reason other than knowing and willing conspiracy with a foreign power to undermine the election process, then all the Left’s naysaying notwithstanding, it proves this is and always WAS a “Witch Hunt” with the intent to negate the election by any means necessary.

If successful, then my faith in our system of government will be completely erased; since this will demonstrate that mob "justice" is the rule, and "by any means necessary" is the method.
