Any civil rights activist who fights for minority rights, are of course, racist. And its usually unavoidable to be around at some point civil rights activists, particularly dems who care about civil rights for all, not just white christians

Caught doing what? Simply being in their proximity or at photo ops doesn’t mean anything so I would say do nothing. If they are being hired as advisors or filling official positions then that is a different story. But the worst thing you could do even then is to just not vote for them.

We don't know how you're defining it for the purpose of this question, nor do we know what "caught with" means. In the same restaurant? Who cares?

They should be told not to associate themselves with such people if the person has a true and documented racist past with no sign of honest guilt/sincere apology.

We shouldn't boot someone from office or have them skinned alive just because they converse with someone suspected of being racist is my point. We should make it clear that our representatives shouldn't hold racist views and should be careful about associating people with genuinely racist views.
