The data, first reported by The New York Times Thursday, shows that more than 68% of people tested positive for antibodies at a clinic in Corona, Queens, while only 56% tested positive at another clinic in Jackson Heights, Queens. CityMD, which operates dozens of walk-in clinics in New York, confirmed the data to the Times and CNN.
While these two working-class neighborhoods saw high numbers for their antibody tests, only 13% of people tested positive for antibodies at a clinic in Cobble Hill, a mostly white and wealthy neighborhood in Brooklyn. The data suggest that while minority and working-class communities were hit hard by the virus, they may be first to build immunity.

IMO, this may be common sense, but when you get the regular flu, it is rare that you get the flu again right away. I think the same applies to COVID-19.
Maryland man who was one of the first people to be vaccinated with an experimental COVID-19 vaccine through Pfizer/Biontech says the vaccine may be working.
FOX 5 first interviewed David Rach, a graduate immunology student, back in May.
A University of Maryland's School of Medicine spokesperson is now telling FOX 5 that Phase 1 and 2 early results from the first roughly 40 individuals in this multi-site study show some signs of promise and some signs of an immune response. This means that the patients have generated antibodies that stop the virus from being able to affect cells.

A century-old tuberculosis vaccine could be playing a role in reducing the death rate from Covid-19 in countries where it is widely used, according to a preliminary US study.
Researchers from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Health made the link to Bacille Calmette-Guerin, or BCG, after comparing data on Covid-19 mortality rates across the globe.
They found that some Latin American regions – including Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil and Mexico City in Mexico – had considerably lower death rates than states in the US such as New York, Illinois, Louisiana and Florida.
