Some critics claim Trump was wrong not to extend his hand to Pense or Pelosi, but I see no reason for those critics to think their criticism deserves respect.

Looks to me like Pelosi waited until Trump was turning to extend her hand, knowing he wouldn't see it.

To be fair, he didn't shake Pence's hand either. He hit the dais with the intent to get the show on the road and probably didn't even see her extend her hand.

I honestly cant tell if he saw her extend her hand or not but intentional or not, he did snub her. I can understand if she felt disrespected over it.
That does not excuse her for her actions, she owns them just as he owns his.

If you were watching every one got to see the most incredible disrespectful thing I have ever seen from Washington. At the end of his speech Pelosi tore up the President's speech.

The House should immediately censure her and remove her from the speaker office.

And as much vitriol I've seen thrown at Trump (a lot of it justifiable, particularly from those who've known him personally. Now, if you watched carefully, Trump handed copies to both Pence and Pelosi...he did not shake EITHER of their hands.

As for specifically snubbing Pelosi? From what I observed, as fast as he turned he might not have actually seen her hand coming forward.

Still, it's possible it was an intentional snub. If so, after all she's said about him as well as her actions to remove him from office? I would not fault him if, in fact, it was an "intentional snub."

Meanwhile, snub or not, don't the Democrats in the House claim the moral high ground? :unsure13:

Democrats showed their disrespect for Trump throughout the speech, but Trump did not stoop to the level of partisan bickering in delivering the speech. I applaud him for that.
