'I didn't have scandals,' Obama seemingly jokes in tech conference talk

No, there was no Benghazi scandal except the one that republicans invented.

In the end, the closest thing you have to a scandal, as I already said, is the tarmac meeting because an appearance of impropriety existed for a figure that Obama directly appointed. And even then there's zero reason to assume that Obama had anything to do directly with the meeting at all.

In the end that's the most legitimate scandal there was that touched Obama's entire eight year term.

Really?

Obama broke the law when he traded to a terrorist group, the Taliban, 5 terrorists for an American Traitor in Bowe Bergdahl.

Obama violated the 30-day congressional notification period.

Obama also broke the law when he gave Iran 1.7 billion in cash.

It makes you wonder: Was Obama just a lousy dealmaker or was he even on our team?

Don't forget pizzagate!

Hey, I respect your opinion. If you want to go to this site and wear a team Blue/Obama shirt on and rally the troops, be my guest. I have no problem if you have a slanted bias towards Democrats.

To me, that is just so tribal. Most of us on this forum are trying to have a rational, neutral, and productive conversations where we can discuss issues without all the partisan tripe.

I think he just misspoke. The way I saw that is he intended to say "I didn't have any sandals". He was, apparently, commenting with regard to the fact that he was photographed in shoes, in boots and in sneakers but felt that he may have alienated some of the sandal crowd so now he's apologizing.

Even then, he lied:

They even write articles about him flip flopping and wearing thongs:

https://jezebel.com/5614098/obamas-mandal-controversy-is-really-americas-daddy-complex

Him wearing that is not so bad and he didn't make the dreaded fashion faux pas (which is currently in season) which is of course to wear sandals with your socks.... :2sick1:

Sorry, but I'm not required to accept your insane conspiracy theories as true in order to be "balanced."

LOL "Spygate". Graspin' for straws.

May be early on that but Taxgate is definitely not a straw, or Fast and Furious, or turning Libya into a ****hole which eventually got an ambassador killed because they were running guns from a CIA compound there to Syria, spending $500 million dollars to train about 4-5 Syrian rebels, supporting terrorists in Syria, ect....

Not that you're saying these aren't scandals but Obama seems to have forgotten.

Wow. Cool. You just expanded the definition of scandal to everything.

Spygate will be the Watergate of our era. President Obama simply had no respect for the laws of privacy. He was George W. Bush on steroids.

Yes...everything that is a scandal. What a strange comment.

If it actually goes down how it should, and the establishment machine isn't able to protect itself, Watergate will look like chump change compared to everything that's brewing right now.

Watergate was a real scandal.

"Spygate" is a smokescreen by a nervous clown to fool suckers and rubes.

And I see that it's working.

Every scandal started out as a drip drip drip and then, whooooosh....

The only problem being, of course, that this isn't a scandal, and there is no drip, drip, drip.

It's just a loudmouthed, mobbed up tool of the Russians screamning, "LOOK OVER HERE!!! SHINY OBJECT! SHINY OBJECT!"

Man, if I could bet money on predicting these types of things, I would make a killing.

Obama better hire a good lawyer.

He knows it's unlikely a former president will ever be held responsible for actual felonies. But his reputation continues to sink. His arrogance may yet undo him.

It is unlikely a former president will be held responsible for felonies that were never actually committed. Too much Fox New can cause these mental lapses in posting.

His reputation is sinking? Those must be quite interesting polls.

His arrogance, (didn't you mean he's being "uppity"?) seems to include the ability to speak the English language in complete sentences, and express thoughts worthy of his prior office. The current office holder could take a few lessons.

No, I think he meant scandals...because:

OBAMA-SANDALS.webp

In Hawaii, that place he claims to have been born in.

Cardinal just said "scandal" is abusing one's power and how much more abusive can you get than a president siding with a criminal in order to sway public opinion?

Riddle me that.

Trayvon Martin was not a criminal, and he was murdered. George Zimmerman is a criminal, and he got away with murder. No riddle there.

How about the criminals that seem to be quite close to Trump? Does that cause you any distress?

The only thing brewing right now is your current GOP political messiah's entire presidency going down in flames. But hey, keep pushing bogus conspiracy theories to sooth the pain of the inevitable downfall of your current Republican messiah.

Speaking of George Zimmerman...

Bet you won't ever see that video on Fox News...

Funny thing about all the investigations...they just have this nasty habit of turning out information that reflects worse on various agencies, Obama admin people, the Democrats, and the Hillary campaign. Just imagine how much would be found if they were actually looking for it instead of fake stuff.

You guys will be whining about "fake stuff" and "fake news" and "spygate" and "shadow governments" all throughout the inevitable downfall of Donald Trump. Look at the bright side though. Your precious GOP will likely survive, and you guys can forget all about Trump (even pretend you didn't support him, like you guys have done with Bush Jr.), and go on to worshipping the next GOP politician your political masters tell you to worship.
