I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration

You provided a citation and then provided your own subjective interpretation of the numbers. It's you that are the employer of emotion, not I.

Far less so than yourself. Still no citation from you.

Something we all need to think about...is if he is suffering from some sort of mental illness or dementia...which can occur and is quite common at his age....he should be subjected to an evaluation to test for fitness...and not someone he hand picks either. Those results should be submitted to Congress and made public.

I am not saying this to embarrass Trump....I am saying it is a real possibility....Reagan was already suffering from Alzheimer's related dementia when he was president....somehow he was able to keep it together and his administration held him up in the 2nd term....but they also screwed up royally with Iran Contra. If Trump is ill, not only is it our right to know it is his administration's responsibility to tell us...

Alzheimer's and the other forms of dementia are incredibly sad...some slowly go downhill and others go downhill very quickly. It is not an illness I would wish on my worst enemy.

Mental illness, just as it can appear in younger years, it can also develop in late years. Mental illness is incredibly difficult and sad as well. The person doesn't know they are abnormal or even ill, but everyone else does. It took someone very close to me in order for me to understand I had PTSD and what I was doing wasn't normal....

It is in the best interest of this country that all of us know if the president is or is not fit for office.

Hate Christians much?

I don't. I just know it has no place.

It should be treated as gay in the military was, don't ask, don't tell.

Like if you belonged to any other club.

So....question. One of the allegations is that stuff was swiped off the presidents desk. In the Oval Office? Wouldn't that be on camera? Matter of fact, isn't pretty much every square inch of the White House under sophisticated surveillance? Are we to believe then that this sort of stuff could happen without ANYONE knowing who the perp is?

I am sure papers are being put on President Trumps desk and taken away from his desk all of time. If it was taken by a top aide who brings in and takes out documents routinely ...Even if there was a surveillance camera in the Oval Office why would anyone think anything was amiss ?

From the following article:
The document is reproduced in Woodward's book and is an example of how top White House aides would steal and hide documents from Trump that they believed to be a danger to national security. In this case, former White House chief economic adviser Gary Cohn swiped the draft letter off the Oval Office desk to prevent Trump from signing it, terminating a critical trade agreement with South Korea.
Woodward reports Cohn was "appalled" that Trump might sign the letter.
"I stole it off his desk," Cohn told an associate. "I wouldn't let him see it. He's never going to see that document. Got to protect the country."
The document, from September 2017, would have informed the South Korean government that the United States "wishes to terminate" the free trade agreement between the two countries that has been in place for six years. Woodward reports that White House aides feared that if Trump sent the letter, it could jeopardize a top-secret US program that can detect North Korean missile launches within seven seconds.

If that's the case we should get everybody in congress Trump's age and older out of congress, such as Maxine Waters (proving her crazy won't be too difficult), Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, John Conyers, and the list goes on and on.

I have no trouble subjecting politicians to mental evals

Even Trump isn't likely to be stupid enough to be filming what's going on in the Oval Office at all times.

That said, lordy I hope there are tapes.

Just heard a report that Gen. Kelly believes they have narrowed down to 12 people who they think the anonymous resister to be. There was talk about these 12 being given lie detector tests.
Outdated technology that has been proven to fail.

Sent from Trump Plaza's basement using Putin's MacBook.

Nice hypothetical, but it didnt happen under Obama, did it? FOX wouldn't have published such a thing? lolol

I like once-libertarian Rand Paul's idea of lie detector tests for all administration officials. Better yet, water-boarding!

The funny thing is that dozens of officials thought it appropriate to actively deny they wrote the editorial. This is necessary only if such people are plausibly the author. Donald being unfit, incompetent is apparently so wide-spread that virtually any needle in this haystack may have written it!

Bottom line, Donald is clearly obsessed with an anonymous whistle blower in his administration yet showed no interest whatsoever that Russians attacked our elections and democracy itself.

They had no issue giving air time to birthers who had nothing but conspiracy theories and no evidence of their claims. I don't think they would have hesitated to publish something that would have gone along with the narrative they were already allowing to flourish. The difference is there was no one from the administration leaking this kind of information nor was there anyone so strongly opposed to him that took the time and effort to do this kind of thing.

Yeah, pretty odd stuff.
