How to Remove Brett Kavanaugh

Trump Fan Nation threw its entire support behind a man who brags about sexual assault, fantasizes about sex with his own daughter, boasts about walking in on naked teenagers, and who cheats on all of his wives. They don't care if Kavanaugh molested their own sisters. They love Trump so much it doesn't matter.

And add to that, most of them don't believe the laundry list you just posted. THAT is the real problem.

I disagree. We can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I think he'll be impeached. But he won't be convicted. And that's ok. What is NOT ok is for the House to neglect to fulfill its obligations as the rightful place for Executive/presidential oversight.

And for sake of future generations, that's what needs to happen. There is no harm in losing the conviction vote in the Senate. The trial will allow every single Trump transgression to be documented on live t.v. And the votes of every Republican Senator will be recorded for history and used against them in states like existing (or soon-to-be) swing states (like Maine, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Nevada, etc.) where Trump's approval and/or re-elect numbers are already underwater.

If this president never faces impeachment by the House, there will likely NEVER be sufficient grounds to impeach another president again. And that cannot happen. We might as well just rip up the first 3 Articles of the Constitution (i.e. Separation of Powers), and prepare ourselves for an autocratic dictatorship.

I agree with everything you said here. But the Democrats should also go into something like this fully knowing that in the short term it is likely to be ugly AF. But, in my mind, the juice is worth the squeeze. I especially agree with the bolded.

Liberals/Progressive/Democrats need to understand that this is a political death-match with their opponents.

If you would stop trying to kill and control so many other peoples lives there would be little to argue about.

Aside from disagreeing with you about DJT being a conservative, I am pretty much on board with the rest of your comments.

He's not a conservative but he does appoint conservative judges from his list of Federalist originalists.

If you would stop trying to kill and control so many other peoples lives there would be little to argue about.

Aren't anti-abortion laws an attempt to control people's lives? What about the anti-sodomy laws that liberals on the court struck down? You do know that a man was arrested in Texas for having gay sex in his own home. Scalia and Thomas said that was perfectly constitutional. The liberals disagreed. Conservatives are not really defenders of freedom. They're more like a Christian Taliban who want to impose Christian laws on country.

No. There was plenty of opportunity for choice. Now there is someone else involved. Unfortunately, that individual cannot defend themselves. They communicate the only way possible.

A bit of personal responsibility goes quite a ways.

SCOTUS being obviously partisan, Mitch's hold on the Democratic nominee, etc., SCOTUS is as broken as the rest of it. It has nothing whatsoever to do with any one decision, it was simply one prominent example.

So like I said because the SCOTUS doesn't agree with you on issues that makes them obviously partisan.

Your own bias is screwing with your judgment

Why would any intelligent want to remove a great judge.

Better yet get rid of Ginsburg. She is too old and sick to do her job right.

A great judge to one, is a bad judge to another.

The way justices are selected is not fit for modern purposes.

This is interesting.
Democrats are desperate to remove conservative judges from SCOTUS because a conservative majority on SCOTUS is the biggest threat possible to the fulfillment of their radical unconstitutional agenda.

That should give us all something to chew on.
