Considering you have to show a photo ID and Social Security card to get a job and have to show a photo ID to collect welfare and open a bank account and also to cash a check , showing a photo ID to vote should be a non-issue. You’re definitely making all this **** up to cover up the fraud your side engages in.

Uh, bob, the point was ballots addressed to you. Not ballots you would collect illegally. Further, how would any of those ballots be accepted without a sample signature of the recipient? You do understand the signatures must match.

Here in Idaho, i decided I also wanted to vote here since I moved here from CA. Admittedly I was not a bit familiar with any of the Idaho Politicians. So to vote, I had to turn over my CA drivers license and obtain a license to drive from Idaho.

I was a native of CA so learned all the hoops here I had to jump to be a voter.

To get the license I had to testify to them I was born using my original last name but took the name of my stepfather to enter high school in the 9th grade. I was shocked to having to prove it. They wanted my Army DD 214 but ended up taking my sworn affidavit of name. Then I got the license with photo. I was then able to register to vote. During the process no agent of Idaho asked me my party though I am a republican. Time to get voting materials so then it mattered so I got the republican package.

It doesn't matter if something gets an "application for registration". Now had it actually be registered and then voted, there is cause for concern and you'd have to look at the aggregate cases of fraud vs legitimate votes to see if it had impact. And the cases of fraud would have to be punished.

A passport IS A PHOTO ID. You do realize you have your photo in it, don't you. I recently worked at a liquor store and passports were acceptable as photo IDs. And I recently got both a passport booklet and passport card. Do you realize how expensive they are. Do you realize you have to show a photo ID to get a passport as well as many other documents?

I had to pay $110 for my passport booklet and an additional $30 for my passport card. That’s not including the charge for taking my photo and processing fees as well as all the documents I needed. Not including the documents I needed, it cost me close to $200 for everything. And by the way, I have no plans for any traveling anytime soon. I just wanted additional ID, and EVERYBODY should have at least one form of valid photo ID if not more.
