Just curious for the members that have children, if they have any political leanings, what are they?

Neither of my kids have any definitive Left/Right leanings.

*sniff*.....Im so proud. :)

Hard core traditional socialist nationalist centrist conservatives.

8 and 6 years old.

Actually, Teen Titans Go, and some new garbage called Unikitty.

Lol my understanding of children's tv programming is so outdated.

There's more than just left/right and center, btw.

Son#1 votes Republican but leans Libertarian.

Agreed, but I didn't want to get into the ginky weeds in the poll. I thought people could vote a general direction of lean and then explain the details inside.

I should've added a multiple option two.

I tried having my kids watch some old episodes of Transformers, and Heman, they wanted nothing to do with it.

Kids are way more in tune with ethos than adults

Ill say this...Robin, in teen titans, is deff republican, while Raven and beast boy lean democratic. Cyborg....is Cyborg.

And Unikitty....is just garbage.

All four lean conservative. We raised them right (pun intended).

My son has a disappointing conservative lean.

My guess is that most kids will tend to lean opposite, for a while at least. I read somewhere that bucking your parents is a very human thing to do post adolescence. It has its roots in evolution. Think of it as being human nature to try something new and finding out for oneself if that new way works or fails. We do it all the time. So, I gather political views are no different.

"Kids" are 28, 27 & 25 all lean left/progressive and they all grew up in a far right rural republican state/county.

That's interesting. Sometimes kids choose the opposite of how they were raised to demonstrate intellectual sovereignty.

Haha, I kind of echoed this sentiment in my reply to Grand Mal.

I just called my 8th grader (my oldest) over and asked his political thoughts because we don't discuss politics much at home. He says he thinks Trump is a racist jerk and thats all he really thinks. My 3rd grader said she knows Trump is the president and a lot of kids don't like him.
