How big of a threat is Russia to the United States?

If you compared the GDP of Tokyo and Russia over the last two decades you would see that on several occasions Tokyo, one city, had a higher GDP than all of Russia. You're right; it is laughable. The fact that you can't believe it kind of strengthens my point. I know I'm right and that any verification would prove me right so I'm not going to waste my time on somebody that is immune to facts they don't like. Don't forget to check under your bed for Russians tonight.

@ thread OP....As big a threat as Trump allows Russia to be. And since he's now on record as claiming Putin's bounties on U.S military is a 'hoax', that threat has significantly risen, ironically and disgustingly, due to the C-I-C's lack of concern for the troops he is charge of protecting.

We've had this beef with Russia for half half a century. They are less of a threat now than they were in the past. A large interest group will keep us distracted with a mostly non-threat as Russia while they fill their pockets with money from our real threat, China.

Ask that question to parents that have their kid come home to them in a flag-draped coffin, killed in action by militants the Russians paid a bounty to. All the while our president trying to give Putin everything he wants.

Well, the worst-case scenario would obviously be a nuclear exchange. However, that is very unlikely. More likely would be a proxy war that could potentially cost us the lives of thousands of American servicemen.

Russia has no secret prisons.
Russia has military prisons for torturing raping or murdering prisoners of war.
Russia is trying to delegate authority to structures in society rather than accumulate authority at the top echelon of the establishment
Russia wants nothing of America or Americans other than to live in peace.
Russia's people has no envy of American aspirations.
Russia has no claims to territory, other than its own.
Russia is a trusted partner.
Russia does not force its political will on other nations, regardless of its relative strength or weakness.
Russia looks after the education and health, it's well being of its nation.
Russia has built nuclear bunkers for 4 million families in its capital to protect its nation from harm.
Russia, cares.
Russia has no torture chambers either on its territories or spread through out the world.
Russia abides by its honour and duty, the word is its bond.
Russia has free medical treatment.
Russia looks after the weak and the infirm.
Russia has said it would never use nuclear weapons first!
Russia is the Christian country.

Russia and China are no threat both have said they would abide by nuclear agreements, which America politicians and military, have revoked.
Both Russia and .China have clearly stated they will not use nuclear weapons first.
America has said, it has sanctioned first use of nuclear weapons.
Is Russia a threat, no, clearly its supersonic weapon systems both the Avantgard and khazal are far superior to anything the Corrupt American military complex can hope to achieve in the next twenty years. The Russian S500, also superior to anything the American arms industry might produce in the next twenty years. So America would be farcically stupid to fire any nuclear missiles at Russia because that would cause the extermination of America, not Russia.
So if I was an American, I would see who has real control of the American body politic and resolve the situation.

And the Pentagon, the aircraft the 300 foot plus aircraft, it just folded itself up, shrunk the 9 foot engines, wings, fuselage cockpit, wheels through a six foot hole, and not breaking the glass in the adjacent window two feet away.

Aipac want American troops in Afghanistan, they don't give a fig how many American sons die, they just want access to the gold copper, rare earth, etc etc etc!
But ask yourself why are American troops in Afghanistan!
1. Under the Taliban 2% of the worlds supply of heroin came from Afghanistan, under the protection of American military 126% a twenty six over production of the WORLDS supply comes from Afghanistan.
2. Work it out for yourself who transports the heroin! It certainly isn't the Taliban.
3. The Taliban were told by American and oil executives a pipeline was going through Afghanistan or the Taliban were going to be removed from office, by force. The excuse used, 9/11, and I've yet to meet anyone stupid enough to believe the official doctrine.
4. The Taliban are in they're country, they aren't terrorists, they are freedom fighters. The terrorists have invaded there country wearing American uniforms. Of course they are going to murder every single foreigner in they're territory, they told you more than 15 years ago they would, which part of these facts do you fail to understand!
5. Get your illegal military camps, your CIA torture chambers, your airfields out of Afghanistan, and no more Americans will die, simple!
6. If Russia wanted to kill Americans, they would not go through third parties, they are more than capable to do so themselves. Russian weapons are far superior to anything the American military complex is capable or will be capable in the next thirty years. So only If American masters AIPAC decides American military is to start WW3, will it happen, but American cities will be burnt to the ground. Not so Russian cities, they have the S500 which also is far in advance of the obsolete Patriot missile system the Saudis have found out, don't work!
