I highly doubt she will run again.

My honest opinion of Vance purely as to whether he would make a good candidate for the GOP in 2028 is mixed.

On one hand, he is articulate and intelligent when it comes to expressing his views, and he is very attuned to the underlying beliefs of the modern right and their concerns about demographics, immigration, transgender, interventionism, and so on.

But hes also almost purely a culture warrior with a largely incomprehensible foreign and economic policy when compared to traditional left-right distinction in American politics. It seems like he would be a much better primary candidate than a general one.

JD is a skilled debater. Tim Walz knew he was so badly beaten that he tried to use the noise from a pizza oven to drown out questions about his performance. JD proved he knew more about immigration, climate change, foreign policy, etc within 15 minutes.

He's quick with responses as well. Trump has a tendency to get frustrated. He had Martha Raddatz talking circles.



He's also going to be hard to attack using typical democrat methods. You can't use his wealth. His mom was a drug addict and he didn't have a dad. He had to fund his undergraduate education by joining the military and using the GI Bill. You can't use his privilege. He didn't have connections to Yale. He applied for scholarships and loans to pay for law school. It won't be Barack Obama calling out Mitt Romney.
