Isn't that what the House Democrats and the prosecutors say? The reason they did not issue subpoenas for the impeachment is because the federal courts are just too damn slow. So they erased Marbury v. Madison, deciding the Congress can outright erase the entire federal court system.
In fact, the entire core of "Abuse of Congress" is one huge FU! at the federal judicial system - so the Democrats in the House voted not only to entirely erase the Federal Courts from this process, but even that the President's team wanting to use the federal courts to decide a dispute between the White House and Congress - as has been done hundreds of times before - is SO EVIL just for TRYING to have the Federal Courts litigate the dispute over Executive Privilege that it is grounds from removal.
Why doesn't Schiff just shoot Chief Justice John Roberts the finger, telling him "you and all you other goddamn lazy federal judges are so damn slow you all have been fired and are irrelevant to anything - so get the hell out of here! We, the Democrats in the House of Representatives, overruled and reversed Marbury v. Madison."
The Democratic prosecutors are trying to kill two birds with one stone, believing they can totally take over the government. They erased the Federal judicial system - and are demanding Trump be removed for merely even trying to follow the process thru the Federal Court ever since Marbury v. Madison in the late 1700s. Thus, in one move the Democrats in Congress believe they can outright erase the Judicial branch of government, while turning the President into their subordinate employee in at-will employment they can terminate at any time.
If Chief Justice Roberts allows this? He's a pure coward and EVERYONE should be able to completely ignore Federal Courts on the same principle: "I need to do this fast and the Federal Courts are too damn slow, so therefore they are irrelevant."
They should particularly do this for death penalty cases. To hell with Federal Court appeals. They're just too damn slow. So we, of the Oklahoma legislature say ignore all those federal court papers. Execute him in the morning. It's already been too slow, almost a month since he was sentenced to death.
Same principle. Unless the Federal judiciary can hear a matter fast enough to suit both parties, the Federal judicial system is irrelevant and can just be ignored. So can the Constitution, any laws and regulations, the Bill Of Rights, Rules of Evidence and Rules of Court if they are too bothersome or prevent you from doing what you want to do.
