House announces new investigation into Trump. Did he lie to the special counsel?

It's a new day and with it comes another damn investigation of Trump by the unhinged asinine left.

I'm sure you feel the same way about Benghazi and Obama's birth certificate. Am I right?

To be clear, this is not whataboutism. This is pointing out your presumed hypocrisy. You've been around here since 2013. Can you show me a post where you complained about the endless fruitless investigations by the GOP? Meanwhile over half a dozen in the Trump inner circle have already gone to jail, but you're still calling it a witch hunt.

There's supposed to be a difference between, "If at first you don't succeed, then try and try again" and "The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over if it doesn't work the first time".

There's supposed to be.

I really wish that both sides would stop treating the existence of an investigation as if it were evidence. You find it hard to believe. Sure. You're just stating your confirmation bias. It's not going to convince anyone. It's just contributing to group think on your side and polarization in general. While Trump was obstructing Mueller and the GOP controlled Congress, sure. But now the Democrats have Congress and they're investigating the hell out of Trump. Can't we wait to see what they can actually prove instead of jumping to the conclusion right away? It would be more intellectually honest and therefor might encourage some people on the other side to follow suit.

Intellectual honesty is not in great supply.

Impeachment over Ukraine is speeding towards a brick wall, so the Dems are inventing new ways to abuse their power.

Did Trump obstruct an inquiry into whether he cheated on his wife in the oval office? No?

Then your "precedent" is completely irrelevant, but what else is new.

What on Earth are you babbling about? The Democrats already determined and set precedent during Bill Clinton's times that a president can obstruct justice and not be removed from office.

Yeah, sorry I guess Breitbart/Hot Air/Gateway Pundit hadn’t picked up the feed yet....

So, you're saying it is ok to post nonsense from all of these sites? I don't even read any of them. But it says a lot about the people who do, apparently you.

LOL. First, Bill Clinton was not removed from office. Second, have you already given up on the Ukrainian thing? That was fast.

Why would this mean that the ukraine thing is being given up on? Groups of people can do multiple things at once.

I make a motion for the one percent to submit one hundred bill ideas to the Senate for deliberation and trial into what is the new norm for those with the Gold to make the Rules.

whoosh!

You guys move from one thing to another every time you fail. The poster I quoted has apparently already given up on Ukraine and are now on to their new thing of going back to the Mueller investigation. They called Reagan the Teflon president but the left are turning Trump into the best nonstick material ever discovered in the universe. Trouble is the left have never had any material that sticks in the first place so you're making Trump look better than he really is. Trump is like water and you keep on throwing oil at him over and over, hoping that it will stick. If it doesn't succeed the first 100 times then try it for another 100 times. By the time Trump has left office he will wind up being the most squeaky clean president that ever served in the White House because he will have been investigated hundreds of times and come up clean every time.

The Ukraine thing is still going on, I wouldn't call that effort just yet ;)

Poll: Majority of Americans are closely following impeachment hearings and say Trump's actions were wrong

Hey, the normal large MSM can't even be believed to tell the truth and they aren't even reporting this stuff so you have to get it from the Guardian or Mother Jones. It's alright though. I don't expect some of you here of being able to have reasonable conversation without reading the tin foil hat media who have to grab what ratings they can with far out tin foil headlines. It shows what level intelligence people have who read these media.

LOL. Republican Senators have even said that what Trump did was wrong but it did not rise to the level of impeachment. There is a difference between wrong and favoring impeachment. Your link did not state that 70% think Trump should be removed from office. Lots of presidents, if not all, have done things that the public believes to be wrong. I thought you were smarter than believing that a cherry picked stat like your link was going to cause 22 Republican Senators to vote to remove Trump from office. Are your fantasies really that necessary to allow you to lead a normal life?

Republican senators have been saying a lot of things, including that. That's not a group with a single message.

And it's not like Trump doesn't grab only the Rasmussen poll every time. That pole is always skewed 10 points to the right.

The pathetic jackasses have chosen a scorched earth policy from the day Trump won. AG Barr's comments in regard to this bunch were spot on. All I know that I can do is fund every Republican running against any Democratic candidate in the House for re-election that won their seat in 2018 in hopes of snatching that gavel from Pelosi. May that witch retire in 2021 in shame.

People are getting tired of this horse poop.

And as far as their accomplices in the media, may Horowitz's report be so damning in regard to the Obama administrations abuse of power using the willing media to push false narratives that they lose the final bit of credibility that they may still possess.

This is sheer bull**** and they need to be held accountable.

Barr is preparing public for hammer imho.....we shall see soon enough.

It appears some really interesting information came from the Roger Stone trial. Since Trump lies about 98% of the time, I find it hard to believe he did not lie to Mueller.

His written answers were submitted under oath. Hence, if they can prove he lied, it looks like he adds another felony to his resume.

BILL CLINTON WAS IMPEACHED FOR THIS ONE INFRACTION.

I guess Adam Schiff's show trial isn't going as well as he planned.
