Well, according to the left, every white person is racist so *shrug* It's very likely they are a little racist but I don't know how deep it goes just using random drunken comments. Now, back to how you used 4 people, who were ejected, as representative of all hockey fans and also made a comment about white people and some kind of "white privilege" even though they got kicked out.

I would assert that people who are normally not racist can be swept up in a mob mentality and this sweeping is enhanced by the consumption of beer.

There are many things, including the volume of speaking, that seem to be amplified by the consumption of beer.

That said, though, stupidity in all forms is an embarrassment to the stupid. Stupid is as stupid does.

If you choose to condemn one splinter of rude and hateful stupidity instead of all of it, that's a good start.

Drunk or not. they went with a racist taunt. That would be a clear sign that they are indeed racists.

Your victim perspective robbed you of the opportunity to appreciate the response to racism by the arena, the fans and the officials. It was a public hockey game not a Trump rally. Trump rally behavior is long passed getting old. It is refreshing to see a prompt response from the fans, the arena and the officials.

Racial taunting is wrong. All the time wrong. This time good fights back, good wins! :applaud I think we are going to see more positive responses in the future.

One day racial taunting will be an embarrassing part of social history.


Oh, and by the way I don't think you understand the concept of bigotry.

Good for you. However, radar blips showing positive behavior, strangers standing up together against racism, should be aired more often. The nation needs positive examples of Americans countering bigotry and racism. We damn sure need more positive examples of unity.
 
In my life experience I have discovered that the ones who cry "racist" the most are usually the most racist/bigoted/prejudiced of all people...

Since it's Republicans/Trump voters who are usually claiming everyone not on team Trump is racist against white people, you may be right.
