The law doesn't require mishandling of classified material to be deliberate to be a crime.
That isn't what Comey said.

I didn't think there was anyone left that still believes the State Departments assertion that the Benghazi tragedy was triggered by a youtube video. I’m thinking that those same folks must think Tulsi Gabbard, a sitting congresswomen and war veteran is a Russian asset along with Jill Stein.
As for vindication of HRC in the email probe, yes she wasn’t one of the 38 people found culpable of sending classified documents to her private server but that doesn’t make her innocent by a long shot. In fact, HRC is the only person I’m aware of that could and did get away with destroying protected evidence via a subpoena from the Justice department, meaning, the destruction of computer hard drives , phones and tablets. This is one of don’t try this at home things unless you want to spend the next three decades in prison.
I suppose these same folks will see this as a vindication when it should be seen as more evidence that partisan blinders and pure hatred for the current administration distorts reality.
The CIA made the video assertion and Hillary never once repeated it. There was no "protected evidence " destroyed. They were her personal emails. You have been fed a bunch of hooey and lapped it up like candy. That is on you. If you are worried about national security start with Trump handing over Syria to Russia and Iran. That is the biggest breech of national security in a generation.

Can you stop pretending you care about corruption? Nobody believes you.

So Hillary didn't mean to break the law when she did. It wasn't deliberate.
Got it.
I was going to go with "So she's just stupid, not criminal." but your summary is more diplomatic.![]()
Yes, you are quite correct. And the Washington Posts extreme bias also shines through.
The headline attempts to suggest Hillary remains unsullied, when in fact, what the State Department said is simply Hillary didn't mean to violate the rules and compromise national security, when she violated the rules and compromised national security.
Given all the heads that got smacked, and other events that occurred, seems her rein at the helm of the State Department was anything but stellar.
And she is the reason the left is tearing the country apart...
If that is the case, I would think reporting them at that point would be unnecessary.
Hoping for the killing of non-believers of the liberal cause does seem a bit extreme though.

Why do you think I would excuse misconduct by Pres. Trump?Trump is still calling world leaders on his personal phone rather than. A secure phone..
The hypocrisy from the right is unfathomable!!!
That's fair.Like the trump tower crew.
Unlike Trump, Hillary did not knowingly release classified information.
It doesn't matter if she KNOWINGLY release it or not: "or otherwise makes available to an unauthorized person," notice how you went to she didn't break the law to saying Trump did it too. In that case the Democrats should have brought that up for impeachment. Which would mean they had a crime to investigate, to hold up to the public, but it would also have meant they would have to hold Hillary to the same standard.
It does matter, obviously.
