Hillary Clinton’s Popularity Lower than Trump’s [W:104]

Ya know how Republicans held their noses and voted for Trump? Ever wonder how many Democrats did the same thing as they voted for the Gorgon? Might be why, much as conservatives want so badly to talk about Hillary they can't find anyone willing to defend her.
The best thing Trumpsters can say about their boy is "He's better than Hillary would have been." and that's pretty much the position Clinton supporters would be in had she won, "Yeah, but she's better than Trump would have been."
Two things come to mind- that's quite a damnation of your electoral system and we know how bad Trump is. Clinton? Will always be supposition.
I quite agree. In fact I was so disgusted by the clown the Libertarians nominated I had to vote write in/independent.

Hillary is now down to 27%, vs Trump’s 35%.

And that is with all the Fake News brown-nosing her daily. :D

Hillary Clinton's popularity has plunged since election, poll finds | Fox News

<gasp> What a shock! Comparing the popularity of a sitting leader of the free world to a twice failed candidate. Who woulda thunk it?

Frankly, I'm surprised HRC's rating is that high! The GOP should be ashamed their party leader's popularity is that low and so close to HRC's!

I know this to be so.

Yet "rightists" are bouncing around pretending that Trump's election means America now believes in what they believe.

Many are claiming Trump is a man of God and a good role model for young people. They're pretzeling themselves trying to pretend that Trump has any virtue other than not being Hillary.

But threads like this show that in their heart of hearts they know that all they still have is "he's not Hillary".
Actually...we have seen quite clearly on this site that there ARE some all-in Trump supporters, but to mindless leftist retards, unless you mindlessly hate Trump, you are an all-in Trump supporter. If you want to see the country succeed, you are an all-in Trump supporter.

So who cares? Here's a tip - Hillary Clinton isn't the President and holds no elective office. It makes no difference.

It seems you are still contesting the last election. Trump won, get over it.

Perhaps you ought to be telling Fox News that. They're the ones who seem to can't get over Hillary.

Popular vote counts for what again?

You implied Trump won because he was more popular than Clinton. The numbers say otherwise

So, you didn’t vote for the candidate; you voted against the other. Well, isn’t that a ringing endorsement :giggling: I guess all Democrats need is a candidate more likeable than Donald — a man more unpopular than the DMV.
Actually...I voted for Jon Huntsman. The Libertarian clown was even more of a joke than Trump or Clinton.

And yes...pretty much any democrat would have been a better candidate. Hell...had the democrats not intentionally ****ed Bernie Sanders and his supporters in the ass, she probably would have won.

So at the end of the day...all I see you and people like you doing in response to this thread is agreeing with what I said. So....well played.

Who is sitting in the oval office? You DO know how elections work...right?

Then how did she end up with 3 million more votes than Trump?
That earned her...what? A participation trophy? The fact remains...her 'popularity' essentially was contained in 3 states. Which made her...what? Thats right...a loser.

It earned her 3 million more votes than Trump. So how does that square with your assertion that liberals didn't like her.

Hillary's rating his hurt by voters like myself who supported her in the election, if not in the primaries, but are turned off by how poorly she campaigned, and still annoyed by her 2016 hold on the DNC. She has a loser's approval rating. What else would you expect?

1- I'm sure leftists and mindless partisans love her, but it wasnt enough to win the election. 2-Hell...look on this site...even in the responses in THIS THREAD and its obvious Liberals dont like her. 3-Popular vote makes her the loser.

Still.

The loser.

So you agree your statement was wrong then.

Not sure what your point number 3 was since I don't recall anyone in this thread saying she won the Presidential election. Do you need constant reminder of the fact that she lost to the biggest catastrophe in the history of this country in order to get over the fact that she isn't in the forefront anymore?

Jon Huntsman wasn't on the ballot in 2016. Do you not even know who you voted for? It wasn't Huntsman - and he isn't a Libertarian.

Maybe you havent heard of it but theres this thing called a 'write-in' candidate. I wrote in Jon Huntsman and another individual as VP candidate.

LOL -- I immediately wondered where that poster has been living. Under a rock perhaps.

No...my statement was 100% correct, and its born truth by who is sitting in the WH.

:lamo

I really cant fathom WTF you think you are on about. Trump won because Hillary was a horrible and despised candidate. Does that Make Trump a gem? Of course not. Hell...Trump is so bad he took reasonable mindful individuals and turned them into mindless hate filled ****s that obsess about him and their hatred of him, so much so that it twisted their own integrity and values.

There are definitely scenarios where Trump can win again in 2020, even with a landslide: if the economy stays strong, if the Mueller probe ends up not showing any collusion or other wrongdoing, if there is a deal with N. Korea, or even if there just is no major wars (or if there is, we win convincingly), etc...

If we could elect George W. Bush twice, I can definitely see how we can elect Trump twice.

I believe the best case scenario and most likely is that Trump will declare his presidency to be a success and not run in 2020, which will probably put Pence in the drivers seat.

I probably should, but they weren't return my call! So I tell the disciples.

I don't think Pence has the charisma to run successfully for president. He is a little too reasoned and doesn't have enough froth at the mouth for the GOP base. It would be the same problem that Kasich had. There are many others in the Republican field who could easily out-crazy him.

No, she won the popular vote. She lost the Electoral College and therefore the election, but in terms of raw votes, she got more than Trump.

I understand that it's hard for ou to understand how anyone doesn't love Trump, but it's true. Despite your protestations, your posts always toe the line.

It says a lot about the GOP that crazy resonates with their rank and file.

If there is anything that the shocking election of someone like Trump has taught us, it's that there is a very large crazy demographic in this country which must be contended with if you're going to win an election. That's going to have to be something that's taken into consideration not just by the Democrats thinking about running, but Republicans too. Unless the political climate change a little, the likes of Pence and Kasich are never going to make it.

I meant if the economy is still strong and all other indicators are generally positive. He would essentially adopt the incumbent role and its easier for an incumbent to keep a position.
