LeBron Says NBA Exec Was Selfish And Uneducated For Supporting Hong Kong Protesters...Wait, What?
"I don’t want to get into a feud with Daryl Morey, but I believe he wasn’t educated on the situation at hand and he spoke. So many people could have been harmed, not only financially, but physically, emotionally, and spiritually," he remarked. (emphasis added)

Educate us then, @KingJames. What do you know about China that we don’t? We know about the Chinese imprisonment, torture & execution of Christians and Muslims. We know about the jailing of dissenters. We know the violent threats toward Hong Kong. What are we missing, Wise One?

He knows that having 300M Chinese NBA fans are good for (his?) business and that NBA fans buy loads of sports jersey's and shoes. It is easy to play SJW in the US since that does not have much (if any) negative impact on NBA business or its television access, but playing SJW in China would likely mean no more NBA access to TV markets in China - causing sales of sports jerseys and shoes to suffer greatly.

Basketball wasn't even invented in America. It is a global game.

Free speech and all that

SJW hypocrisy and all that - there is no free speech in China therefore NBA "stars" playing SJW in China means no more NBA in China. LeBron made a very simple cost/benefit anaysis but will never admit that fact.

Of course he did. Shows you what a sham the whole "justice" warrior thing is. Athletes' SJW'ing ends where their endorsements begin.

I purposely left that post open to interpretation.Yes, he has a right to speak freely, but not having the balls to stand behind others who should be able to enjoy the same rights is cowardice, to say the least.

Lebron and others who act and think like he are hypocrites. How often to we hear and see people, not just celebrities, marching down the street yelling and holding up posters, knowing full well they won't have to suffer any serious consequences? Look at the climate chance warriors. Do they jet to China? (sorry, not wanting to change the topic, it is just an example)
