Here's a House Member who gets it.

Trump has done more for gun grabbing than Obama did. He banned the bumpstocks. When Obama even thought about something like that, you all lost your minds.

People have eyes and ears and i think they might want an adult as President. Not someone who has a temper tantrum when he doesn't get his way.

In a sense you are correct. Gun sales appeared to dip..

Gun Sales Down After Obama Boom Years

"President Barack Obama became known as America's gun salesman in chief during his final years in office. And gun sales data backs that title up.

Americans purchased more than $29.1 billion in firearms and $16.6 billion in ammunition during his two terms in the White House, an analysis from The Washington Post published Wednesday found. Some of that was fueled by Obama's repeated attempts to introduce gun control measures that could make it harder for some Americans to buy guns. In contrast, during the 16 years Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were president, Americans spent a total of, respectively, $21.1 billion and $22.9 billion on guns and ammo.

Obama's exit from the White House seems to have provided some Americans relief about the security of their Second Amendment rights. Since President Donald Trump won election in November, gun sales appear to be going down"

So are you for more guns on the streets or less today?

Regardless of what happens in the House, and there's great doubt that impeachment will ever get out of there, we know that the Senate will not vote to remove Trump. Democrats know this so this is simply an exercise to damage Trump for 2020. Unfortunately, what it's going to do is galvanize the Trump supporters even more and is likely to also turn off plenty of fairminded independents and even some moderate Dems. IOW, Schiff and his cabal are setting themselves up for an even worse thrashing in 2020 than they were going to get originally. Carry on Dems, carry on.

Whistling past the graveyard...

This is not oversight.
Oversight is showing transparency, and accountability to the American people, one day, one testimony at a time.
They, WE deserve more than reading leaks and Democratic cherry picks from the media. One day in the future, Adam Schiff will be shown to be on the wrong side of history.

Well, Conservative Recent History anyway.

The one that only exists in the minds of consumers of conservative media.

Rep. Michael Waltz@RepMichaelWaltz
"I’m potentially expected to vote on impeaching the President of the United States, yet as a member of Congress I’m not “allowed” to see transcripts of the witness testimony?

If my Democratic colleagues truly care about the constitution & not politics, they will demand the same."

So why aren't Waltz's colleagues demanding the same? We're only getting what they want us to hear, tidbits and leaks made to the media. Who exactly does this benefit?

Impeachment is a purely political process.

Bumpstocks? Really? How many people do you think own bumpstocks? .005% of gun owners? What we want are adults in Congress who actually govern rather than spend 100% of their time whining about the POTUS and trying to figure out how to overturn the last election.

So as long as it only happens to a small percentage, it's not a Second Amendment thing. Got it.

I'd love to see some sdults in Congress, but I can't remember when Pelosi ever had a tweet storm becsuse SNL made fun if her.

Less would be good, is Trump going to confiscate guns?

Look, if you want to go after the weapon that is responsible for the vast majority of gun deaths, you should be advocating a handgun buy back.

Democrats have a metric-ton of legislation in the Senate's queue including an anti-corruption bill, and Trump's desire...universal background checks that ideally effect 100% of gun purchases.

Mitch doesn't even bring such things to a vote. did you mean you wanted Mitch to vote and work through them, negotiate, etc? Or to stop government, as you claim to oppose above?

Democrats in Congress are passing lots of bills. Republicans are ignoring them. - Vox

Speaking of Dems passing bills, we're still waiting for them to pass the USMCA in the House. When are they going to get to that?

Your lord and god, twump, also wants to confiscate guns and only THEN have due process.

You obviously didn't hear about Butt O Rourke and his Stalin-esque idea of gun confiscation.

Yes, I also believe it will prove to be a losing strategy for the Democrats.

With Nutty Nancy finally admitting that she'll never hold a formal/official vote on launching an inquiry, you damn right it's a losing strategy. She just handed the GOP a gift, wrapped up with a bow and everything.

She might as well have said "Yep, this is a Democrat-sanctioned circus and we don't give a **** about what the critics have to say".

You clowns can keep concentrating on process all you want to. Trumpkin is about to go down. Three Amigos with numbers across their chest joined by Mick the Quick to make Three Amigos and a burro. All will spill the beans.

"Pinto or black Madam Speaker or should I say Madam President?"

Mitch McConnell on line 1......something about job one being to make Obama a one term president.

John Boehner on line 2, by the way.....something about doing everything they can to make sure nothing Obama supports goes anywhere.

Please dont act like Republicans didnt come out and openly adopt this policy...for ****s sake....it hasnt even been 10 years since they pulled this ****.

That's fine, but you're missing my point altigether. Trump's record on gun bans is worse than Obama's and your retort is that it's a small number of people. If a right doesn't extend to everyone it isn't a right.

What office does he hold?

King Beeto Hussein Oroarke isn't so much an office as a proud mantle to wear.

He needs to come back and pick up the trash he left everywhere in the state.
