That is the only thing I can think of, offhand, for this particular bit of insanity.
You know, Republicans have their own problems with their leadership. Boehner seems to go through problematic periods, and listens way too much to the Big Business wing of the RepubloCrat party. Mitch McConnel has all the personality and verve of a wet waffle, minus the waffle. But stand them next to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, and they are a mixture of James Madison and Cincinnattus.
Democrats, do you not get embarrassed at all by the clown troop at your head? One of the good things at least about a hostile media is that it keeps the senior ranks of the GOP cleared of idiots who can't control the things coming out of their mouths.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took to the Senate floor Monday to issue partial blame to Republican “obstructionism” for the Russian annexation of Crimea last weak, saying GOP senators blocking legislation to impose sanctions on Russia sent a “very weak message” and may have influenced Russia’s decision.
Reid took a swipe at Republicans not showing “respect for the president… when he’s overseas,” and told his GOP colleagues they could think about “how their obstruction affects our great country’s national security.”...
