Lying about what I have and have not said is not "fair play." Ok ok. Either you do know what I have said about TV "news" over the years and were lying OR you were in such a rush to make a partisan attack (and pose as above-it-all) that you didn't bother to look up what I've actually said...and were thus bull****ing.

Lying or bull*****ing in order to make partisan attacks and pose as non-partisan is not a good look. And "I wasn't lying, I was just bull*****ing" isn't a defense.

And, of course, it doesn't excuse Trump's bigoted comment about the judge. Only in the minds of bigots does Trump have a right to say what he said about the judge.

Gonzalo Curiel, the judge of the Trump University case belonged to the San Diego La Raza Lawyer's Association in which the advocacy and political involvement for said association was positively for Hispanics and prosecution of illegal immigration, for example, WOULD NOT have been a topic that would advocate or be positive for the Hispanic community especially with the attitudes of California in respect to illegal immigration, IMO.

Side note: If Curiel had been a prospective witness in the Trump University case, the lawyer for Trump should have, IMO, excused Curiel as a witness because Curiel would be detrimental to Trump's case (or, at least, biased against Trump).
I suppose you would propose that irregardless of Curiel's political leanings, he would be fair as a judge? :roll: Why take that risk? Curiel should've recused himself.
