It is the kind of thing that happens when you give Trump supporters exactly . . . what . . . they . . . want.

Of course, it's a lesson that many of them are not intelligent enough to learn--which is comedy for the rest of us.

No sane person honestly believes that Bush himself would vote for Trump, so this a logical progression.

Who were they again? And were they donating to Democrats at that time like the Democrat Donald Trump was?

Yep, that's my opinion as well. Bernie would have scared away some of the moderates who would vote for Biden, but not Bernie. For the same reason, Biden shouldn't nominate Warren for VP, she's great, but she'll frighten away some of the moderates and rednecks who can't stand trump but who have the unfounded fear that Biden with Warren will "turn America socialist" whatever that means.
