Impeachment is inherently a political process and it doesn't make sense politically to impeach a president that remains popular within your own party. You didn't see many Democrats lining up to impeach Barrack Obama, even after the many impeachable offenses he made, because he remained popular throughout his presidency. I have no idea how the justice system works in Ukraine. But if this prosecutor was so obviously corrupt, why wouldnt his entire office be tainted and further, why wasnt he arrested and tried for corruption?
