Graham on the impeachment inquiry: 'I made my mind up. There's nothing there'

What did you call it when Biden openly bragged about denying support unless they fired a prosecutor? And since the US policy is that there is no foreign aid for corrupt governments, it would certainly be appropriate top ensure the government you are working with isnt corrupt. Similarly, since there was no "unless you do this I wont do that" then there is no quid pro quo.

This is all just more of the same...idiot leftists doing their idiot leftist peach 45 dance. And they have been doing it non stop since Nov 2016. This is just the latest iteration. And dont worry...when this one fails the tards will start up with something else.

A lot of words to avoid addressing the issue. Do you care to try again?

If you don't call what Trump did a "High Crime" then what exactly do you call it?

Theres a high crime right in your face, but you don't want to see it. Only a sycophant says it isn't there.
:lamo

Idiot leftists have been seeing "high crimes" since Nov 2016. They have been fabricating **** non stop. This is just more of the same.

Lets be completely frank...neither of us know **** about ANY of this because all you have is the bull**** you have been spoon fed by Schiff and a bunch of lying rats in a corrupt process and you have eagerly gobbled everything down and pleaded for more. You made your mind up that Trump should be impeached back in Nov 2016 bnefore he ever even took office. The rest...well...thats all just the bull**** and lies you need to fabricate to try to make it happen.

What part of personal gain don't you guys understand. Quid Pro Quo that isn't for personal gain isn't whats being discussed here. Biden did what he did on behalf of like 11 other nations who were tired of seeing the aid money they were sending being raped by corrupt people and those corrupt people being protected by said prosecutor.

If you can't see the difference between that and what Trump tried to pull, there is nothing anyone is going to do to be able to help you.

Its like the difference between your wife telling you she will take the kids to school today if you do it for her on Friday and her telling you she really liked that necklace she saw at that store this weekend and then following it up by saying it might help her feel extra sexy next weekend if she had it.

Oh, hes going to be impeach. Bank on it. He also isn't going to be removed from office. Bank on that as well.

Among other politicians, I followed McCain’s service in the Senate (and Congress before) for decades and have a fair understanding of the man. I’m sure that my belief is shared by many others.

Who cares what you believe. You have no idea what McCain would think or do because you never knew the man.

Typical leftist bull****...the same hypocrisy the left always spews. Leftists....good. Conservatives...bad.

I dont doubt there are enough conservative rat politicians to impeach him just like I dont doubt there are plenty of mindless rat sycophants that cheer on the corrupt process we have seen played out so far. And He wont be removed. And he will likely win reelection. And the pathetic rat ****heads will have to spend the NEXT 4 years trying the same bull**** they have already been doing since Nov 2016.

I’ll say it again, McCain would be ashamed of what his best friend has become. A spineless Trump ass kissing sycophant. :2no4:

who cares what McStain would have thought...sore loser and all:shrug:

How do you know Biden had no personal gain? You guys constantly repeat that this has been investigated and Biden has been found to have done nothing wrong. Who investigated it? And what makes you think that the firing of a single prosecutor would have any impact on the massive corruption running rampant in Ukraine?

Including Megan McCain...

Maybe because the prosecutor in question was intentionally stonewalling investigations and enabling corruption?

I call that following united States and western allies policies.

This is such a thin weak straw it proves just how desperate cultists are to still cling to it...

Thin...says the people that have been non-stop fabricating **** to be poutraged about and declaring PEACH45!!! since before the man even took office.

Apparently not you (the only person you can speak for), and I’m totally good with that.

As has been made clear by my previous post, I actually do have a pretty good idea of what McCain would think about what has become of his long time great friend.

"Whatever is happening to Lindsey, this is not the person I used to know," the conservative commentator said.”
Meghan McCain knocks Lindsey Graham for defending Trump's tweets: 'This is not the person I used to know' | TheHill

“I just spoke with him,” McCain said. “I think that he’s doing what he thinks is best, and I don’t think it’s productive to go on TV and say I haven’t read it when you are the head of the Judiciary Committee.”
The View’s Meghan McCain runs out of excuses for Lindsey Graham choosing to ignore impeachment evidence – Raw Story

Cindy McCain: “ He'd be railing against what's going on," she added of her husband, who was a frequent critic of President Trump. "I think John provided a lot of cover for other members. And when he would do it, then they could get behind him kind of thing. And I'm not seeing that."
Cindy McCain says husband John McCain would be 'disgusted' by state of GOP | TheHill

There’s no doubt that she is referring to Graham as one of those who her late husband would be providing cover and guidance to.

Trump_DoJ has had years to investigate.
What did they find?
Did they just forget to investigate this open, public corruption?
Or was there just never enough reason for Trump_DoJ to open an investigation?
idk
But it's been years now.

And what makes you think that the firing of a single prosecutor would have any impact on the massive corruption running rampant in Ukraine?
What makes anyone think that firing a prosecutor makes the prosecutor's office drop a case?
How does replacing a prosecutor end an ongoing investigation?

It seems replacing the prosecutor just replaces who is handling the case.
I've asked others, but not really had that explained to me.

Maybe you can explain it.
idk

Right. Because only democrats are allowed to have already made up their minds.

Which Senate Democrats have said they've made up their mind and will absolutely vote for removal before the trial? Even if they HAD, it's a false equivalency, as if the evidence we now have has no effect.

Curious that you still cannot answer a very straight forward question. What does that say exactly here?

Should we be surprised that Lindsey Graham has already made up his mind in regard to impeachment? Impeachment is inherently a political process and it doesn't make sense politically to impeach a president that remains popular within your own party. You didn't see many Democrats lining up to impeach Barrack Obama, even after the many impeachable offenses he made, because he remained popular throughout his presidency. If Democrats think that Republican politicians should stick out their necks to impeach Trump then maybe they should convince the public that what Trump did was a bad thing. Lots of people are saying that what Trump did wasn't wrong at all. Also the Bidens are completely corrupt for what they did.

And considering there was no ongoing investigation at the time it makes the whole conspiracy theory immediately debunked...

What do you call the attempt to extort a foreign entity into publicly announcing the opening of an investigation into ones chief political rival, which is designed to help electoral chances in the upcoming election, in exchange for the release of military aid appropriated by Congress and an official State Visit? In virtually all circles, when blind partisanship is removed, this is considered the very definition of a "High Crime" and is completely in line with what our Founders feared the most. And was instrumental in their writings regarding impeachment. What do you call this, if not a High Crime?

I call it that you are talking about the Obama administration. Ukraine was giving the money with nothing granted.

Ie no crime.

A lot of words to avoid addressing the issue. Do you care to try again?

As dershowitz called it nothing. Leftists are making up crimes.

Maybe because the prosecutor in question was intentionally stonewalling investigations and enabling corruption?

That would make him a part of the problem, But the idea that corruption ended with his departure is silly.

The claim is that this has been investigated and debunked. So who investigated it?

I have no idea how the justice system works in Ukraine. But if this prosecutor was so obviously corrupt, why wouldnt his entire office be tainted and further, why wasnt he arrested and tried for corruption?
