Maybe because most of the time you don't have liberals grandstanding pretending to be morally superior. When you put yourself up on a pedestal like that and it turns out you don't have the firm foundation....you fall much harder.

Laughable. Numerous Republicans remained in office after any number of open cases of hypocrisy. This guy is the exception, not the rule.

He should have tweeted for her to keep the baby. That would have made him a Right Wing hero. Pushing for a uterus vacuuming is one step over the line in RightWingLand.

To be sure there are. It is just that the Republican/conservatives tend to run on 'high moral ground' much more than Democrats, because that appeals to their base more. That means there is a higher number of them whose public persona is different to how they act in their private life.

True. However, we should also understand this reflects on the population.

We get ****ty politicians because politicians are voted in by people. And people are ****ty.
