It's the perfect christmas gift for the political rabbit population in our society. Did you get the video of the DEMs complaining about impeachment at that time?
Seems history continues to repeat itself in politics. You can literally take all of the political talking points on both sides today and reverse them for the equivalent mess we had in the 90's. One will see how this entire episode runs out, but my guess is that history will repeat itself again with the outcome.

Yep, here is the public's response to impeachment hearings since their beginning. Comparing Trump’s approval ratings, percentage of those who want Trump impeached and removed along with those who don’t. As you can see Trump’s approval rating hasn’t really moved. Then there is the party break down. Democrats totally for impeachment and removal, Republicans totally against. Independents split right down the middle. Democrats for impeachment and removal have risen 5 point since the start of the hearings. Republicans against impeachment and removal has risen 8 points since the beginning. Independents, in favor of impeachment and removal have rose 6 points as too has independent against impeachment and removal. Bottom line, these hearing hasn’t moved the needle or changed anyone’s view on the situation except make each side harden their position on Trump.

This is a propaganda battle.

We heard from Turkey that the impeachment is moving too fast, after his side was crying "vote already!" for months.

This is for one purpose.

To allow time to generate new narratives and give them time to set. For the smokescreens to get thicker.

This is all about frames and narratives.

Not truth and justice.

Because the current republican narrative is that the DNC hacked itself and released the emails itself in order to frame Russia. And they had help doing it from Ukraine.

So they threw the election to trump, but framed him and Russia, so they could impeach him after sabotaging their own candidate.

It isn't even a coherent conspiracy, but it is gospel to about 40% of the electorate.

It is relevant to Gingrich (who is largely responsible for out current political climate) deriding the democrats for impeaching at Christmas time when he led the charge for Clinton's impeachment that was delivered on the 19th of December.

Doesn't both me if Trump goes or stays. What interests me is the public's reaction and how it might effect the up coming election. especially for my House, Senate and Presidential forecasts. Right now it's a wash, I'm not seeing impeachment and removal have any effect on the up coming elections. So far anyway.
