GoFundMe has reportedly removed the account of the Glazov Gang, who were raising funds for an anti-Sharia law tour and their conservative web show.
According to a blog post made by The Glazov Gang, GoFundMe “suspended The Glazov Gang campaign without any notice or explanation, nor have they responded to any queries.”

So now opposition to Islamic Theocracy is to be considered hate speech, this is unacceptable.
 
So tech companies are now taking it upon themselves to Thought Police the rest of society, and engage in Denial of Service to those who don't meet their personal standards. This gives these companies a power over the rest of society, to effectively impose their political views on others.

If you refuse to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple, you can be legally penalized under the law - but if you refuse service to Glazov Gang for their criticism of Sharia, then it's perfectly fine. There are double standards going on here, which are socially and legally untenable in the long run.

As I recall, the bakers raised a tidy sum from GoFundMe. I would like to know why they refused the Glazov Gang though. It's possible that they're shady. We have no way of knowing.

Go fund me should offer an explination but they are within their rights to refuse service to anyone they are not in a legally binding contract with.

I dont understand why conservative entrepreneurs dont create competition in the marketplace much like fox news did.

Do they allow account who are raising funds to fight the tooth fairy?

If so, they should definitely allow this one to continue.

If they have a rule against scamming people with he GFM accounts, then they definitely should shut this down.

Well, they hate Muslims, who they say are all jihadist anti-American would-be terrorists. So they speak, and they speak about their hatred toward a religion. In other words, hate speech.

Maybe it's because host Jamie Glazov has a Russian-sounding last name.

"Sharia law rallies" are an out and out scam run against the gullible.

There's probably something in GFM's terms of service which says people aren't allowed to run cons from their site.

Dollars to donuts that if anyone in this thread decides to find the reason given by GFM for dropping the account, it'll be someone other than a sharia law rally supporter.
