Trump's top economic adviser, Gary Cohn, is leaving the White House

Gary Cohn, the director of the National Economic Council and President Donald Trump's top economic adviser, is leaving his post at the White House.

The move comes after an up-and-down year in the administration that included public spats with the president and a large legislative success in the form of a tax code overhaul.

Recently, Cohn was unable to convince the president to forgo tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum.

The chaos continues.

Let's face it, Gary Cohn resigned because he thinks Trump is a moron and doesn't want to be associated with the mess that Trump is creating.

Another one hits the streets. Wow.

Is McMaster next? Bolton met with the President today.

It's "Another One Bites the Dust"

Hmm...I didn't intend to watch the whole video but that song is so good.

Not surprising. The steady flow of rats leaving the ship will only pick up speed.

Bolton?! If he takes over a war will soon follow.

I don't think the country will survive 4 years of Trump. He needs to go ASAP.

Bolton feeding trump is like feeding the hulk angry pills. He'll pop and put us in a war pronto.

But ... Obama ... incoming.
Administration overlap ... something the USA doesn't do well ... versus Putin and Xi types.
What we do well ... false equivalence, historical revision, and whataboutism ...

Possibly if that is why he is leaving. I don't trust your source to get the story straight on much, but it's possible.

However,

Did any or most or all of these people leave the Obama administration because they thought Obama was a mess and didn't want to be associated with the mess they and/or Obama created?

I counted hastily but I think there were 36 people in key positions who left the Obama administration in the first 5 years.

The Trumptanic is tilting to the starboard....another rat leaves the ship. This has to be a freaking record.......The Apprentice-Presidential Edition must be in sweeps week. I remember when the Conservatives had a tirade that Obama took the Bust of Churchill out of the Oval Office. Trump can't even get invited to the UK and not a problem for Conservatives.

I expected him to leave last year when he was so repulsed by Trump's comments after Charlottesville.

He doesn't want to be part of this sinking ship. Soon they'll be nobody left but Jared, Ivanka, and Kellyanne "Hatch" Conway pressing Trump's trousers while he's wearing them.

SOURCE....dude turn a TV on an watch the stock market tank again. Or I guess you can wait for a Conservative Internet Troll in his underwear to update his website.....

The revolving door of the Trump administration just keeps on turning, lol.

There's not point in trying to advise someone so stupid and ignorant that they think trade wars are "good" and "easy to win".

Five years? Count again and put in 14 months instead of 5 years. Math not your strongest subject?

If you want to get the story straight, maybe zero hedge isn't a good place to look?

Another billionaire from Goldman Sachs walks out the revolving door he walked in through. No biggie, there are more where he came from. Swamp Things are everywhere.

According to The Fire and Fury, Trump had sucked up BIG TIME to this guy before and during the campaign...he wanted this insider (Goldman Sachs) guy.

Ruh-oh

Pretty much, swap is really getting shallower, huh.

If you can identify any of those names that didn't leave the Obama administration as reported, go for it. I'm pretty sure they all did as there are threads here someplace on most of them.

I believe Obama was inaugurated in January 2009. And I believe from January 2009 to mid 2014 is a bit more than 14 months. Nobody ever taught you how to read a calendar?
