I don’t get it. If you’re at university (a place of higher learning) why segregate yourselves, if we’re truly all equal, get in there mix it up and be equal.
I happen to agree that a university is the LAST PLACE ON EARTH where ideological and cultural "safe spaces" should be a thing.
If individual groups are going to do such a thing, nobody can stop them, but campus administration should never play any role in actively endorsing or enabling it, or enforcing it.
If a group wants to voluntarily limit their association, it's their own business and it's on them only.
But that wouldn't be any different from darts players segregating themselves from balloon artists.
