24% of adults 50 and older who received the shot gained protection against infection.

WTF??

Why is this "pushed" on yes.

BTW, the overall effectiveness of the flu shot is better this year than last year!

Big Pharma making the cash....

I don't think you understand how it works.

Yep, which is one of the many reasons I refuse to take it...

Drink the kool aid if you wish...

Did you know that there are people out there, REALLY stupid ones, who actually believe vaccines cause (and bear with me here) autism?

It's true! Good thing that most people don't believe that. Is that kraykray or what?

My 70 year old mother took it and was sick for two weeks. Had a terrible reaction, broke out from head to toe and nothing took care of either issue. Doctor said she just had to wait and let "whatever" get out of her system, but that didn't make sense to me, because isn't the flu vaccine supposed to *stay* in your system?

Just have a good hot toddy and everything will be ok.

The reason the government exempted drug companies from any liabilities for vaccination injuries for the government to instead pay the damages, now totaling over $4 billion in the civilian sector, is because vaccinations are 100% safe. All those in the military whose doctors claim they were permanently harmed by vaccinations are all liars too.

The experts who say giving children multiple vaccinations all at the same time is a terrible idea are all idiots. Everyone knows that drugs never interact with each other and there is no reason to waste any money studying that. As one poster pointed out, this is all a Russian conspiracy to make Americans sick. I don't know why Mueller isn't investigating as certainly Putin and Trump are behind all the conspiracy talk and have been for decades.

The reason autism is now at epidemic levels is climate change. Everyone knows that.

The experts who say giving children multiple vaccinations all at the same time is a terrible idea. But they are all idiots and all drugs can be mixed. Everyone knows that and there is no reason to waste any money studying that. As one poster pointed out, this is all a Russian conspiracy to make Americans sick. LOL! The only thing that everyone knows is that you have no idea what you're braying about.

I'll just put you down on the 'anti-vaxxer' side of the ledger. Can't say as it comes as a surprise.

The government and drug industry perfectly benevolent, but people always raise conspiracy theories anyone - and have for decades. For example, there was a stupid conspiracy theory about the government deliberately infecting prisoners in the USA and Guatemala, particularly black prisoners with sexual transmitted diseases, to see the short and long term health effects.

The idiotic conspiracy theory was the ridiculous claim that STDs have ever harmed anyone. The American government would never, ever allow anyone to be injected with anything that poises any risk whatsoever.

This is the fact: There is no risk giving children all 72 vaccinations at the same time. In fact, little children could be given every one of the hundreds of potential vaccinations every day for a year and it would have nothing but positive effects. The more drugs a person receives at the same time the better. It's time to recognize that. Rather than people having to bother with taking pills every day, they should just take the whole month's worth on the first of every month.

Yes, everyone knows that corporations have no interest in money and all exist for humanitarian purposes, just like everyone in government are the most honest of all people. But to understand just how wacky people can get with conspiracies just look at all the crazy conspiracy theories against President Trump. As both a billionaire and president, it is certain he is the most truthful person of them all and should be trusted without question. What makes people believe crazy conspiracy theories like that?

I'm simply not interested in your paranoid, delusional fantasies.

Sorry, you'll have to play that game alone.
