It's times like this that I really miss the old Court TV.

I knew most of the story from reading, but it was pretty good seeing it laid-out in a video presentation.

If Hatchet Man Mueller, the Pride of the FAILED INTELLIGENTSIA! screws this up be ready for all Hell to break lose.

what would constitute "screws this up"?

Good video...but it seemed to leave out a few details...such as, Lee Atwater was a senior partner at Manafort's lobbying firm...

"...Lee Atwater became a senior partner in the political-consulting function of the firm (the partners claimed the firm kept political and lobbying functions separate) the day after President Reagan defeated Walter F. Mondale in 1984..."

That explains a lot about the Trump campaign's 'dirty tricks'.

We continue to see this GOP of Lee Atwater play out today, every single day.

Each New Democratic Woman of Color that comes on the political scene gets this ‘boogiewoman’ treatment.

The only solace I get is to know that Democratic Women of Color will turn out in record numbers, forever, as we saw in Alabama for Sen. Doug Jones.

The more #45 and Rudy open their mouths, the closer we get to McConnell removing this nightmare.

DURING this Manafort Month, Democrats must remember what McConnell would do if the roles were reversed.

No Mercy, No Quarter, Total Focus on Issues, No Playing Their PC games, unrelenting Focus on the 99 state remaps and 43 Congressional remaps.

Prosecution threw Manfort defense team a real curve ball today. Manafort's team walked right into it by identifying in opening argument that they were going to blame Manafort deputy Rick Gates for everything.

Judge today asked why Prosecutors were asking FBI agent to testify to things that it would be asking Gates to testify to. Prosecutor responded "we may not call Mr Gates to testify". That had to knock the Defense back on its heels. In the first place, prosecution probably does not need Gates testimony. However, the Defense has already exposed its strategy. If the Defense has to bring Gates as a hostile witness then the Prosecution gets to cross examine Gates and cross examination while being in one way limited (by the testimony given on direct) on cross you get to add texture to the testimony given on direct which can actually often be more valuable. You can be "argumentative on cross" and not draw a successful Objection for it. At any rate the prosecution now gets to choose how they want to handle Gates, either on direct or cross and the Defense is stuck waiting to see what they are left with. Pretty smooth by the Prosecution team.
