Firearks ownership skyrockets in Germany

Well according to your earlier post and this one "firearms" seem to include and majority are made up of these easily obtainable glorified starting pistols. Also the count includes parts for guns, not just guns themselves. Your articles keep defeating your own argument unless it is that completely non-lethal cap guns reduce crime.

Anecdotal- when I was a kid, no idea if they impacted crime, they did have a positive fun impact for kids with cap guns

That the story turns out to not actually be guns is hysterical.

Yes fear is a good salesman. If people would read the statistics they would see that a gun in the home makes you less safe from violence and the gun you buy today is far more likely to kill you or a family member than any intruder.

The Chicago murder stats tell a different story.

Totally shot to pieces here.
Damn your OP is another in a long line of massive fails

How's that Dutch Bank story coming along? :lamo

For those unfamiliar with ammo.

The point of the OP is that at least some Germans would like any way to try to protect themselves and their families, for which there is a slim chance that you can be one of the few people allowed to have a loud cap gun. Germans have to rely upon having a crossbow for home defense.

Germany is not an example of anything. After WW2, all German weapons were rounded up by the Allies in both the East and the West, of the young and middle aged men, those still alive who had been in military or police services and thus familiar with firearms were locked up at first for a while.

Thus, we know what would take to gather up all guns in the USA:

1. Kill off about 40% of the men between age 17 and 60
2. Imprison about 20% of men of that age group still alive - killing about a fourth of those in prison
3. Kill about 15% of the civil population
4. Totally level every major American city
5. Destroy all American industry and drive all Americans to the point of total starvation
6. Eliminate all American government leadership
7. Have Russian, Chinese, N. Korean and Iranian military overrun and take over the USA
8. It is important that at least half of American females are repeatedly gang raped by the occupying mliitaries.
9. The occupying forces ruthless run the USA under military martial law.
10. Ban from any employment anyone who questions or challenges the occupying forces or governments
11. The occupying forces control all press, radio and television in the country
12. Of course, this entire time for decades all guns are banned from civilians with harsh imprisonment and even potential execution if caught with one.

Do that for a few decades, and yes the USA would largely be gun free. The above does seem to be the plan of the new International Democratic Fascist Party of the world's super rich corporations and individuals. We get to vote on whether or not we want that future in 2020. Maybe the Democratic Fascists will win. I hope not.

Of course they do, and William Tell will come to the rescue. Reason they all carry apples

Ask Jon-Erik Hexum about blanks.

Hexum was apparently unaware that his actions were dangerous. Blanks use paper or plastic wadding to seal gunpowder into the cartridge, and this wadding is propelled from the barrel of the gun with enough force to cause injury if the weapon is fired within a few feet of the body should it strike at a particularly vulnerable spot, such as the temple or the eye. At a close enough range, the effect of the powder gasses is a small explosion, so although the paper wadding in the blank that Hexum discharged did not penetrate his skull, there was enough blunt force trauma to shatter a quarter-sized piece of his skull and propel the pieces into his brain, causing massive hemorrhaging.[1][7]

If one can touch them, one doesn't need a gun.
