Finally a Crack in the GOP Partisan Armor

I noticed that title. I thought the GOP was going to blow up. That is what the left and the press was saying two months ago. I think they need an investigation. The FBI needs to look at the hard drives of every server that was hacked. I wonder if they will have any problems getting the servers from the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Campaign. I bet the Clinton Foundation and campaign would be freaking overjoyed to give their servers to the FBI.

From the Vox article cited above.

The disagreement, in other words, is over whether the Russians intervened to help the more pro-Russian candidate in an American election because he was pro-Russian or whether they were just screwing around and happened to have helped Trump as a result. The CIA seems to be making a fairly commonsense inference, albeit a kind of politically explosive one. The FBI, by contrast, is sticking to what’s actually knowable but also to a conclusion that’s easier to live with for Trump supporters who don’t like the idea of their candidate receiving explicit foreign assistance.

That shoe fits a bit too tight, Right?

Who do you think would do the forensic analysis and investigation on this hacking?

1. Department of Agriculture
2. Department of Urban Housing and Development
3. Department of the Interior
4. FBI
5. Food and Drug Administration
6. DEA

When you are watching our young men and women returning from the South China Sea in caskets from a needless war started by a man who thought 50 years of foriegn policy could be used as a "bargaining chip" I hope to God you take ownership of your share of the responsibility of that happening.

Talk about melodrama.

Lucky for us, McConnell and McCain actually have some integrity.

McConnell? I don't know.
McCain? He went to Syria and posed for pictures with ISIS supporters and said we should arm them.

I want responsible and controlled government.

So do i. But that ain't happening. So we all might as well suck it up and deal with what we have for the time being.

...or makes his voters dumber than a box of rocks.

I choose door number 2.

Of course you do. You're an Anti-Trumper. You hate Trump, his supporters and everything both stand for. You agree with Hillary: We're all "deplorable".

Pretty sure they already have. News flash! They don't need to read all the emails on a server to find evidence of hacking.

FBI also checked RNC servers months ago, according to Priebus.

I don't see what an investigation will find then. It will make you guys feel better however, until it doesn't. Pretty much like the recounts, a lot of hype for nothing.

They revealed that Hillary and her campaign staff were crooks and haters. Not exactly a shocking development, but it was nice to have confirmation of that fact.

Besides, many of the DC Dumbos who bitched after election day whined that it was Comey's fault with that letter of his. They're heading towards the "Russia did it" side because it's become the fad. My guess is that will fade by next Monday, when those poor twits find something else to bitch about.

Tillerson is, to put it mildly, a highly problematic choice. No diplomatic experience, all sorts of conflicts of interest. Way too close to a serious security threat to the US. Even numerous Republicans know this is a serious problem.

This is where i oppose Trump and agree with you. Trump can most certainly do better in picking someone for Sec of State.

I voted the way I wanted to vote. No one told me how to vote.

As flawed as she was, she at least had a functioning brain. Shame that the one without one happened to win.

Trump seems to be doing okay, given that his first policy decision won't happen for well over a month yet, he hasn't had any official interaction with Congress, and the media has been savaging him since well before the election.

Most likely, they hacked the Democratic Party, and fed it to Wikileaks.

I'm not interested in random and idle partisan speculation.

And if they hacked the RNC, or Trump's campaign, or anyone else, they could blackmail key political figures. This could be a very serious issue.

And yet you're absolutely certain that while whomever may have hacked the DNC and various other entities, they surely didn't hack Hillary's private server. Spare me the concern.

First, anyone with business interests with Russia is right off the bat the wrong person for the job.

If the guy is SoS, he'll have no business interests.

Second, anyone who got the freaking Order of Friendship is very likely the wrong person for the job.

But Hillary arranging the sale of 20% of our uranium wasn't? That's already happened, and isn't based on speculation such as the above.

Yeah, that's how you lose the Republic. Y'all have been telling us that we have to "suck it up" and support one of your candidates for decades now, and look where we are. Listen, if it were a one off, you could "suck it up", if it's a trend then you cannot any longer for the longer you "suck it up", the further the Republic slips through our fingers.

Furthermore, we cannot abide by foreign countries attempting to influence our elections, so if there is cause for concern with Russia trying to hack our ****, then we need to investigate it. End of story.

Enough with the "Hillary Did It!" excuse, damn the Republocrats are so annoyingly hypocritical. Hillary isn't President and just because she did bad things doesn't mean that bad things are now excused for everyone else. This is the problem, really. The Republicans or the Democrats do something wrong or unethical, the first response isn't to own up to it and attempt to change the behavior. Your first response is to point your finger at the other side and say "Well they did it too!". It's pathetic partisanship and one of the main reasons the Republic has fallen apart to the point where we stand.

End of story.

How can that be the end of the story?

Surely you must have something more sinester in mind than the mere satisfaction of knowing?

Hum?
