Yes, Bud. I've heard that argument before. I refuse to buy that Dems actually consciously want to turn their back on national security. Letting illegals into TX won't help win votes anyway, because undocumented folks are not allowed to vote. My recollection is that TX implemented some pretty draconian voter ID requirements a few years ago when Scalia and crew shredded the voting rights act in favor of TX GOP politicians. So the chances of illegals voting illegally is even more implausible.
I am on my way to check it out

I don't get it! How does this pertain to ME?
No idea why but I thought of you when I saw Dirk's pic.
Its true that illegals can't vote but their kids can in 18 short years. This illegal immigration thing has been going on for awhile now and we have lots of newly minted American citizens, who's parents are illegal, that are at voting age are nearing voting age every year. The Dems are playing the long game. Flip Texas to a Blue State and its game over for Republicans. With the Black voting block crumbling around the edges the Dems need another voting block to shore them up.
If you call having to show a photo ID Draconian ...I guess.
