"Indigenous people" killed each other, enslaved each other, ate each other, and in general treated the land they lived on like locusts exploiting the resources in any given part of the land they were on until the resources were killed off and then moved on to other areas where they did the same, often killing off tribes in those areas to take what they had. This notion that 'the land is sacred' is bull****. If you want to see how sacred land is to the tribes see what they do to the land they have.
Now to be fair...thats the great sin of living as a conquered people on gifted land. Reservations were a mistake. Life on most reservations is pure hell. The successful Indians leave those lands and assimilate.
History teaches us that the indigenous people knew far more about how to mistreat other indigenous people long before European settlers ever came to America.
