Yes, bu it was never disputed that they had a relationship through the beauty contest. Jr. said as much.

Anyway, I think CNN is baiting here. But I must admit they've otherwise done some absolutely stellar work. I'm glad to see the Fourth Estate is alive and well in America, and functioning! My hope is some young people watching, are inspired to pursue journalism. It seems more important than ever.

Question is did "emoluments" happen before or after Trump became president? If Trump made profits with Russia in 2013, it cannot be used as "emoluments" because he was not president then.

That's because the New York Times had the emails in their possession already, and were about to release them to the public.

And yea, a business venture in 2013 is not the same as one in 2017, so we are in agreement on that.

Really? That's strange. Heck, the stuff in this video isn't even new news. I mean, back in 2013 he was even quoted in an RT article about this very thing...the Miss Universe pageant and his plans to build a Trump tower in Russia.

Why do people act like this is some kind of revelation?

Could it be this not knowing about Russia thing is something the media has taken out of context? That certainly has happened quite a bit. You know...taking a phrase and spinning it into him saying something totally different.

In any case, Trump Jr. already spoke about those people before CNN dug up that video. He already spoke about the connection they all had together and how it relates to this email thing from Goldstone. It's not really much of a data point.

Trump Jr. had already released the email chain BEFORE he spoke of his connection to Goldstone and the other guys on Hannity. btw, he also spoke about WHY he released the email chain. You should probably watch that interview.

FOX News for the right is the same thing as MSNBC for the left. Fact is, Trump Jr was not being honest. He already knew the NYT was about to release the emails....

But "we were preparing to publish" when Trump Jr. tweeted, the source said. "Don Jr. asked for more time when we contacted him" for comment, "and then pre-empted us."

New York Times story triggered the release of Trump Jr. emails - Jul. 11, 2017

...And then says he did it out of transparency. No he didn't. He released them in order to get them out ahead of the NYT, which he knew was about to run the story, and refused to give him more time when he asked them.

And, of course, Hannity and FOX News did what they always do. They lied.
