There was a fairly common thread in the recently released transcripts from the HPSCI interviews and that was "one administration, one government". I can buy that idea, more or less, but the transfer of power from one administration to the next is supposed to be part of that "one government" concept. Unless either the incoming or outgoing administrations is actively working against the other then it should be a smooth transition, thus preserving our "one government". In the case of the Obama administration it looks like things didn't exactly go that way.

There is no LOGICAL reason that Flynn asking Russia to sit tight until after Trump's inauguration should be any problem at all. The ONLY reason it might have been a problem is if it was the intent of the Obama administration to coax Russia into an aggressive response to the sanctions. If that's what Obama had planned then...well, that isn't exactly upholding the Constitution to begin with.

I have no evidence that Micheal Flynn was working FOR the Russians.

The Trump noise machine is very careful not to draw attention to the fact that everything Flynn was doing at the time was directly against the foreign policy of the country he served.


But he was certainly going around telling them that they wouldn’t have a thing to worry about once he became National Security Advisor.

When he wasn’t peddling hair brained schemes to give Middle Eastern kingdom nuclear reactors, he was busy promoting the idea of outsourcing the Afghan war to Eric Princes mercenary army.

Flynn was not the only wannabe Trump White House official running around making promises to the Russians. Jared Kushner made repeated overtures to Russian intelligence assets with the notion of setting up a covert back channel between the Russians (the ones who ran the misinformation campaign that helped install Trump), and the incoming Trump White House.

Flynn overplayed his hand, and his exposure was one of the things that drew the worlds attention to the degree that Russian intelligence had penetrated the Trump campaign. They didnt have spies. His guilty plea was for telling a lie. That aside, can you tell us exactly what was in the conversation/s with the Russian, not some half made up story, give us the exact dialogue word for word.

BUT, assume it's true and guess how quickly whistleblowers will suddenly become brave heroes who should be protected and ideolized; how quickly legitimate investigations that were called illegal spying and Obama bugging people's offices suddenly turn back into legitimate investigations; how quickly their hypocrisy is projected as accusations of hypocrisy by "the left", even as people on "the left" yet again agree that if someone committed a crime they should be prosecuted.
