Not a one of them are speculations. They were, in fact, spying on the campaign and Trump. What we need to find out, is if the process was abused and if what was done was legal or not. Then after the fact whether there were leak(s). Rogers closed the DNS loop to the FBI and went to the Trump campaign, remember when they moved everything out of Trump Tower as a campaign HQ? The fact that Rogers lasted until the next administration and was allowed to retire even after Clapper wanted him removed during the Obama administration speaks volumes to how deep in the cookie jar their hands actually were. What Rogers found was that 75% plus of the data retrieval was occurring to outside contractors, we don't know yet if this means FBI or other. We also know there were hundreds of unmasking requests undertaken with Samantha Powers' ID code.

It all adds up to a use of government resources to spy and leak.

Word on the street is that the Horowitz report is 500 pages. If true and if each mistake is given, say, 10 pages, that's still a lot of mistakes. Carter page was named in a the Steel Dossier and a low level person to the Trump campaign.

He was NEVER indicted for a SINGLE crime. He is free on his own accord and if I am not mistaken working with lawyers now setting up a possible defamation lawsuit.


Regardless... Who is protecting him when he was found guilty of NO crimes? There is no protection.

Nobody is protecting Carter Page. Why would they? He was never charged with anything.

It was used as part of the evidence. It was not the sole evidence. That is something that seems to confound Trump followers. When you seek a warrant for anything you have to provide evidence. The paperwork for the FISA warrants were many more pages than the section of the Steel Dossier which might have been a few sentences at best. So what do you supposed was in the filler pages, fluff and poetry?

So now the IG's report is coming next month? I heard that a year ago. Is that when we can expect to see McCabe, Strzok, Page, Clapper, Brennan, Obama, et al indicted and then hung on the village square? The Office of Inspector General is not a law enforcement organization (e.g., we do not have power of arrest). However, any unlawful or criminal conduct discovered during the course of an investigation will be referred to the appropriate law enforcement entity. At this point the information is in the hands of Durham, who has the power to to subpoena for witness testimony and documents and hand down indictments to a Grand Jury. We will have to wait and see where this goes.
