As soon as Christianity was legal (315), more and more pagan temples were destroyed by Christian mob. Pagan priests were killed.
Between 315 and 6th century thousands of pagan believers were slain.
Examples of destroyed Temples: the Sanctuary of Aesculap in Aegaea, the Temple of Aphrodite in Golgatha, Aphaka in Lebanon, the Heliopolis.
Christian priests such as Mark of Arethusa or Cyrill of Heliopolis were famous as "temple destroyer." [DA468]
Pagan services became punishable by death in 356. [DA468]
Christian Emperor Theodosius (408-450) even had children executed, because they had been playing with remains of pagan statues. [DA469]
According to Christian chroniclers he "followed meticulously all Christian teachings..."
In 6th century pagans were declared void of all rights.
In the early fourth century the philosopher Sopatros was executed on demand of Christian authorities. [DA466]
The world famous female philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria was torn to pieces with glass fragments by a hysterical Christian mob led by a Christian minister named Peter, in a church, in 415.

but wait! there is much more!!

Already in the 4th and 5th centuries synagogues were burned by Christians. Number of Jews slain unknown.
In the middle of the fourth century the first synagogue was destroyed on command of bishop Innocentius of Dertona in Northern Italy. The first synagogue known to have been burned down was near the river Euphrat, on command of the bishop of Kallinikon in the year 388. [DA450]
17. Council of Toledo 694: Jews were enslaved, their property confiscated, and their children forcibly baptized. [DA454]
The Bishop of Limoges (France) in 1010 had the cities' Jews, who would not convert to Christianity, expelled or killed. [DA453]
First Crusade: Thousands of Jews slaughtered 1096, maybe 12.000 total. Places: Worms 5/18/1096, Mainz 5/27/1096 (1100 persons), Cologne, Neuss, Altenahr, Wevelinghoven, Xanten, Moers, Dortmund, Kerpen, Trier, Metz, Regensburg, Prag and others (All locations Germany except Metz/France, Prag/Czech) [EJ]
Second Crusade: 1147. Several hundred Jews were slain in Ham, Sully, Carentan, and Rameru (all locations in France). [WW57]
Third Crusade: English Jewish communities sacked 1189/90. [DO40]
Fulda/Germany 1235: 34 Jewish men and women slain. [DO41]
1257, 1267: Jewish communities of London, Canterbury, Northampton, Lincoln, Cambridge, and others exterminated. [DO41]
1290 in Bohemian (Poland) allegedly 10,000 Jews killed. [DO41]
1337 Starting in Deggendorf/Germany a Jew-killing craze reaches 51 towns in Bavaria, Austria, Poland. [DO41]
1348 All Jews of Basel/Switzerland and Strasbourg/France (two thousand) burned. [DO41]
1349 In more than 350 towns in Germany all Jews murdered, mostly burned alive (in this one year more Jews were killed than Christians in 200 years of ancient Roman persecution of Christians). [DO42]
1389 In Prag 3,000 Jews were slaughtered. [DO42]
1391 Seville's Jews killed (Archbishop Martinez leading). 4,000 were slain, 25,000 sold as slaves. [DA454] Their identification was made easy by the brightly colored "badges of shame" that all jews above the age of ten had been forced to wear.
1492: In the year Columbus set sail to conquer a New World, more than 150,000 Jews were expelled from Spain, many died on their way: 6/30/1492. [MM470-476]
1648 Chmielnitzki massacres: In Poland about 200,000 Jews were slain. [DO43]
this goes on and on, century after century, right into the kilns of Auschwitz.

How many people were killed or died as a result of the depredations by avowed Marxist-Leninists (which includes Stalinists, Maoists, and the Khmer Rouge), Marxistleninist? And before you shout "whataboutism," it is not that these are not horrible atrocities that I condemn. I condemn mass-murder and iconoclasm, whether carried out by Christians or Communists. I am just given to ask why a person who describes himself as a Socialist and a Marxist-Leninist specifically (which was a term coined by Joseph Stalin) would care about mass-murder and iconoclasm.

It is like watching an avowed National Socialist claiming to care about atrocities carried out by racists. Do you really care about atrocities and mass-murder in general, no matter who carries them out? Do you condemn the acts of repression, mass-murder and forced starvation by the Marxist-Leninist regimes of Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Pol Pot with equal firmness? Or is this just a pretext to attack what you see as a rival ideology and worldview? Or perhaps this is your point, that because past Christians also commit atrocities, they cannot claim to be better than mass-murdering communists and this is meant to muddy the water?

From my experience, a real Marxist Leninist's response to your question would resemble the following:

Genocide that occurs in the pursuit of Marxism is justified, since its only correcting the initial injustices that were carried out by the enemies of Marxism.

That's if they were answering honestly about how they feel.

A brief history of how apostasy came about...

At Pentecost 33 C.E., thousands of Jews and proselytes were anointed with holy spirit. These new Christians became “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for special possession.” (Read 1 Peter 2:9, 10.) The apostles kept careful watch over the congregations of God’s people as long as they lived. However, especially after the death of the apostles, men arose who spoke “twisted things” in order to “draw away the disciples after themselves.” (Acts 20:30; 2 Thess. 2:6-8) Many of these men had responsible positions in the congregations, serving as overseers and later as “bishops.” A clergy class was taking shape, although Jesus had said to his followers: “All of you are brothers.” (Matt. 23:8) Prominent men who were enamored of the philosophies of Aristotle and Plato introduced false religious ideas, gradually replacing the pure teachings of God’s Word.

In 313 C.E., this apostate form of Christianity was granted legal recognition by the pagan Roman Emperor Constantine. From that time on, Church and State began working hand in hand. For example, after the Council of Nicaea, Constantine, who was present at the council, ordered Arius, a dissenting priest, into exile because Arius refused to acknowledge Jesus as God. Later, under Emperor Theodosius I (379-395 C.E.), the Catholic Church, as the contaminated form of Christianity came to be known, became the official religion of the Roman Empire. Historians refer to pagan Rome as having been “Christianized” in the fourth century. The truth is that by that time an apostate form of Christianity had joined the pagan religious organizations of the Roman Empire as members of Babylon the Great. Even so, a small number of anointed wheatlike Christians were doing their best to worship God, but their voices were being drowned out. (Read Matthew 13:24, 25, 37-39.) They truly were in Babylonian captivity!

How many people who would've been victims of violence had also been saved?

Next:

How many Christian organizations and churches donate skills, time and energy to help people in need all over the world?
How many Christians privately (and usually anonymously) donate to people in need?

How many Christian groups do their own ministries such as operating a soup kitchen to
feed the hungry?

Provide support to places like inner cities to help the troubled youths of society - the drug addicts, the gang members, etc..,

How many Christians offer emotional support - visiting the lonely, the afflicted, the incarcerated, the grieving?

How many Christians offer physical support by doing chores or giving rides for those
that can't?
How many Christians do acts of kindness and caring?

I know of volunteers who offer not only support for the sick person, but also for the family that's trying to cope..... such as offering to care for the children, or cooking for the family while one parent tries to keep earning a living while the spouse copes with an illness.

These have RIPPLE EFFECTS, you know - touching and helping those indirectly affected.

Louisiana floods destroy home of Christian leader who says God sends natural disasters to punish gay people | The Independent

Methinks God has a sense of humor at times.

I'm beginning to suspect you've got an axe to grind with Christianity.
You want to dig up ancient times?

Let's start with the simple ritual of appeasing a pagan god: human sacrifices

How many children have been sacrificed to the pagan god, Molech?
How about human sacrifices to pagan gods all over the world?

In ancient Japan, legends talk about hitobashira ("human pillar"), in which maidens were buried alive at the base or near some constructions to protect the buildings against disasters or enemy attacks,[5] and almost identical accounts appear in the Balkans (The Building of Skadar and Bridge of Arta).

For the re-consecration of the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlan in 1487, the Aztecs reported that they killed about 80,400 prisoners over the course of four days. According to Ross Hassig, author of Aztec Warfare, "between 10,000 and 80,400 persons" were sacrificed in the ceremony.[6]

...snip...

The people of Fiji practised widow-strangling. When Fijians adopted Christianity, widow-strangling was abandoned.

Human sacrifices continuation...…..

The Maya held the belief that cenotes or limestone sinkholes were portals to the underworld and sacrificed human beings and tossed them down the cenote to please the water god Chaac.

The Aztecs were particularly noted for practicing human sacrifice on a large scale; an offering to Huitzilopochtli would be made to restore the blood he lost, as the sun was engaged in a daily battle. Human sacrifices would prevent the end of the world that could happen on each cycle of 52 years. In the 1487 re-consecration of the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlan some estimate that 80,400 prisoners were sacrificed[78][79] though numbers are difficult to quantify as all obtainable Aztec texts were destroyed by Christian missionaries during the period 1528–1548.[80] The Aztec, also known as Mexica, periodically sacrificed children as it was believed that the rain god, Tlāloc, required the tears of children.[81]

The Abrahamic God forbids human sacrifices.....therefore, it isn't surprising that the spread of Christianity had something to do to influence societies that come to Christ to abandon the pagan practices.

So many lives have been saved just by abandoning the ritualistic human sacrifices.

Reject notions of gods interfering in the fate of mankind in the first place, and nobody has to worry about any of that stuff; including human sacrifices.

Speaking of ripple effects . Let's take a look at what the christian british empire brought to the table.

The Opium War. In which the british, a christian nation, forced opium onto the chinese in trade for silver.
The outcome was that China soon turned itself into the biggest producer of opium in order to satisfy the rapidly growing demand from its addicted people. Heroin and morphine, addictive drugs manufactured directly from opium, spread to the rest of the world quickly because of the huge quantity of opium being produced. The addictive drug trade became a global problem as early as the turn of the 19th century.
Globally, an estimated 17 million people are now estimated to be regular opiate users.

All those drug addicts so called cured by chriatianity can also blame the christian nations for spreading the drug about in the first place.
How many lives have been lost because greedy christians wanted silver and were willing to trade a deadly drug for it.

Great news! We can stop droughts by sending gays to the stricken areas!

It's a dirt nap, and we all - each and everyone of us - will "go to hell". Well, except for those of us whose ashes are scattered instead.

This is a crock of baloney. If you actually read Acts 20 instead of regurgitating this claptrap you will see that Paul does not speak of a worldwide apostasy. Individuals fell away, the Church remained intact.

Angry that you're being exposed, huh...

As Jesus himself explained, in his illustration the man who sowed wheat in the field represents Jesus, and the seeds he planted represent true Christians. The enemy who sowed weeds among the wheat represents “the Devil.” The weeds represent lawless, apostate men who falsely claim to be servants of God. (Matthew 13:36-42) The apostle Paul gave further details of what would happen. He said: “I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among you and will not treat the flock with tenderness, and from among you yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves.”—Acts 20:29, 30.

Did what Jesus illustrated and what Paul foretold come true? It certainly did. Ambitious men took control of the congregation that Jesus had established and used it for their own ends. Jesus had told his followers: “You are no part of the world.” (John 15:19) Nevertheless, power-hungry men formed alliances with rulers and formed State churches that amassed immense power and wealth. These churches taught “twisted things.” For example, they taught people to worship the State and to sacrifice their lives for it in warfare. Thus, so-called Christians participated in Crusades and slaughtered people whom they considered to be unbelievers. They also went to war and killed their own “brothers” of the same religion. They certainly did not practice Christian neutrality and love of neighbor.—Matthew 22:37-39; John 15:19; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; 1 John 4:8, 11.
