Eric Trump says he was assaulted at a Chicago restaurant

Much like the president celebrated a Republican Representative body-slamming a reporter?

Why does it become ok when the president does it? Just curious. They seem like they are both terrible actions yet you are more upset about the actions of a random employee at a restaurant and the response on a debate forum than you are the actions of a US Representative and the reaction by the president of the united states?

Unreal.

If by nobody [liberal] you mean pretty much everybody [liberal] on the thread, concur.

Edit to add: Ikari a notable & reasonable exception.

No getting outraged by a behavior is not the same thing as defending it. For example, not getting upset about Trump talking about getting away with ***** grabbing is not the same thing as defending Trump talking about ***** grabbing.

Oh yes - absolutely. :) You did not, perhaps because you don't understand and/or can't accept that it's what you're doing. :)

Oh, oh ok. It's easier for you to accuse me of a logical fallacy and then not provide any evidence of such than it is to actually address the points I made. I don't blame you. I made some great points and you aren't able to negate them or argue them logically, so you revert to the last ditch effort of "WRONG!". I believe it's called the "I'm rubber and you are glue" defense. Fair enough. If that's all you got, then that's all you got. No hard feelings.

(but many of these people voted for the ***** grabber ... and no one is voting for the accused restaurant employee)

Me saying I don't want anyone to commit violence sounds like me promoting violence?

Okaaaaay. You have proved yourself worthy of being a Trump follower.
Why yes! yes I am...I think he’s doing what other have failed to do in my lifetime. But personally I also think he’s a jag-off, so what.

Someone said accuses another of committing a crime and suddenly the right believes the attention whore who claims to be a victim

So what is you accused me of promoting violence when I said the exact opposite.

Up is down and down is up.

You show why I maintain that we need to hear more before we decide whether Eric's accusation is credible. The Trumps and their water carriers are not credible. I'll wait to hear what charges are brought.

Seriously. 22 women accuse Donald of sexual assault -- don't believe 'em -- and many others accuse him of bad behavior in line with what he has actually bragged about committing -- don't believe 'em.

Eric accuses someone of spitting on him ... and that person is quickly released in spite of allegedly attacking the son of the president ... but we should believe Eric.

You lost me...

Okey-dokey. :) Your many posts embody the fallacy; perhaps you should read them? :2wave: Nor I you. :peace Well, let's just agree to disagree. :) Ironic. Indeed. More irony. Not at all. :)

You average 44 posts per day. Perhaps you should start appreciating quality over quantity. Just my friendly suggestion.

Irrelevant. Numerous fallacies, including the ongoing fallacy of argument against the person. My friendly suggestion is that you bone up on fallacies so you can either avoid them, or perhaps even better embody them - your choice. :)

All the efforts to excuse this just because we are talking about Eric Trump will only make matters worse down the road.

Was the Secret Service present when the women who have accused Trump were allegedly abused?

The women who accused Trump accused him of things that he has bragged about.

The Secret Service was present when Eric was allegedly attacked ... and they let the alleged attacker go. I will continue to await charges as verification that there was an attack ... because no one gets to attack the president's son in front of the Secret Service and not be charged.

Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women? This is news to me. I'm aware of him making a crude comment qualified by acknowledgement of consent - is this what you're referring to?

Sounds reasonable. :)

Again, you should read up on these things.

Logical Form:

Person 1 is claiming Y.

Person 1 is a moron.

Therefore, Y is not true.

Feel free to point out where I've said "X is wrong because you're a poopiehead!"

This didn't happen, the employee said Eric Trump is not their type.

I am waiting to hear further developments. If there actually was an attack, the employee will surely be charged.

It seems so far all we have is one side of things.

This may not even be political.
People get upset enough for assault w/ one another everyday, all day long for things which are not political.

We can always knot our political panties later. [ If you can untie their knots now that is ]

Assault
in a restaurant
not political
