Elizabeth Warren releases DNA testing: she has Native American background

Don't underestimate it. They have denied the unanimous consensus of every single scientific organization on the entire planet on global warming, and the unanimous consensus of every single intelligence agency in the country, that they themselves have appointed, on Russian meddling.

But start talking to them about Obama's secret Kenyan birth certificate, and they will be all over it.

I really can't tell if they really are so passionate that they subconsciously blind themselves to the reality, or if they are THAT deceitful. Hard to tell. If it's the latter, do they take the rest of us to be such fools that we would fall for such poor attempts at deceit and gaslighting?

President Trump WON the bet. To be Indian (Native American) under federal law isn't "likely a 6th to 10th had some Native American ancestry" - thus pushing it still further back.

By law - and she's a lawyer so knows it - Warren proved she is NOT an "Indian." She proved she is "White European."

Doesn't this test prove she is a liar? She claimed that her parents had to elope over racism due to her mother being a native american.

Not quite. She claimed that her father's side of the family wouldn't let him marry his mom because they had heard that there was some Indian blood there. A little different.

Why would she share the results of this test, it makes her look ridiculous? She's faked her Indian ancestory to fit in, get perks, whatever...

You may say "well look at Trump", but people have accepted Trump for what he is, a crass, arrogant, NYC builder and an outsider with a bull in the china shop tact and desire to do exactly what he says he's going to do for the most part. Warren is a typical bull ****ting politician which is why this will stick and may just knock her out of the 2020 race.

Yeah sure. You said "Not really, since Native American DNA wasn't used as a comparison. It's more probable she is a tiny bit Mexican than Native American, but at that small of a percentage it really doesn't matter."

Why doesn't it matter? You actually thought she had claimed to be an American Indian? Can you quote for us exactly when she said that?

No, she claimed to be part native American. And she is now vindicated. I don't recall where she made any claims to how much. She just said she remembers her parents telling her that she has a native American heritage. That's all. If she said otherwise, please provide links.

I am not sure where the confusion is coming from. It's not that hard. Really. Sheesh.

Is Guy Benson correct? He asks why Warren self-identified as white in the '70's and early '80s and then changed that self-identification in 1986 (through 1995) when she began to be listed in that law school directory/"tipsheet."

Benson says:

She chose to list herself as a minority in this influential professional publication ("often consulted by hiring deans") in 1986. She was offered a teaching position Penn, an Ivy League institution, in early 1987. Imagine that. She then continued to 'check the box' through 1995, which happened to be the year that she received a tenured position at Harvard Law School. Warren and her defenders insist that this timing is coincidental and that her formalized self-description as a racial minority played no role in her jump into the Ivies -- even though both Penn and Harvard were under immense pressure to enhance faculty diversity at the time, and each subsequently touted her in literature as a minority. She has claimed she didn't even know they were celebrating her as a minority, but her story has evolved. That strains credulity. “I listed myself in the directory in the hopes that it might mean that I would be invited to a luncheon, a group something that might happen with people who are like I am. Then I can only conclude that you either didn't read what the DNA expert wrote, or you don't understand it. Either way, it doesn't matter because you've dug in your heels and I doubt any rational statement will sway you.
