Many Republican senators and Congress persons (and right wing supporters) in the media have been questioned about whether or not what Trump said was racist and the vast majority of them had stated what Trump said was not, but according to EEOC law to say "send her back" is definitely racist.

Trump is in clear violation of the equal employer opportunity commission laws and could be sued.

Facts About Employment Rights of Immigrants Under Federal Anti-Discrimination Laws

Ethnic slurs and other verbal or physical conduct because of nationality are illegal if they are severe or pervasive and create an intimidating, hostile or offensive working environment, interfere with work performance, or negatively affect job opportunities. Examples of potentially unlawful conduct include insults, taunting, or ethnic epithets, such as making fun of a person's foreign accent or comments like, "Go back to where you came from, " whether made by supervisors or by co-workers.

You're talking legalities and we know by now the right has disregarded the law led by their hero with the orange skin.

"may" violate EEOC laws

there is a HUGE difference between may, and DID

and proving that difference in a court of law is very hard

want to try again?

Just a moment. Is the President the "employer" of members of Congress?

Problem.

President Trump never said or wrote "send her back".

Now what?

His post may be wrong, but what about the other quoted therein?

If you read the whole OP. "statements like" and "go back to where you came from" made by supervisors, managers, or co-workers.

These are things that could actually be problems if Rep Omar wanted to file an intimidation suit.

What supervisor, manager, or co-worker told her that?

So content and intention of the thread are wrong?

Yes.

Other than citizens exercising their 1st Amendment rights, no manager, supervisor, or co-worker has said "go back where you came from".

The President wrote:

"Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done."

"Go back....places from which they came".

You do realize that the phrase given in the EEOC regulation is an example of racially harassing words, and it does not have to be exact, right?

I understand to meet their bias, and feed their obsession, certain types need to invent new context, and apply labels to it.

What new is being invented? How was what Trump tweeted (and since said) not fitting of the EEOC guidelines?

The president at a rally was whipping up his base and they were shouting send her back so the responsible thing to have done would to stop them from doing this and that he did not violates the law and of course the word may indicates this is a potential tort and can be litigated and should be.

But far more important than the legality of it is the fact that we have a president that is doing it, encouraging his base to engage in ethnic slurs and what is notable here is many on the right defending the president when they should be condemning him for it

Can you answer the question I asked?

The answer was implied in my question. President Trump made a statement that easily fits the guidelines stated by the EEOC.

Are you ready to say that in any company in the US a boss or co-worker who doesn't like what an immigrant has suggested is perfectly with in his rights to tell them to go back to their country of origin and try it there before saying anything here?

"Cortez, somebody said that's not her name … I don't have time to go with three different names, we'll call her Cortez," Mr. Trump said. "These congresswomen, their comments, are helping fuel the rise of a dangerous militant hard left."

the only harsh thing they can say the President said in his rally? lol

you know, you guys really ought to quit when you are behind....you keep pushing these losing propositions....and the american people arent buying

maybe, just maybe come up with a GOOD candidate...and focus on why they are better than Trump for the country

and concentrate on what matters to the people....economy, jobs, the market....the stuff that affects their everyday damn lives

Well it's a potential tort and torts are litigated they're not prosecuted and so would jury looking upon a president fomenting hatred amongst his base, how do you think they would vote?

Any of the Democrats running would be better than Trump
And if Trump were primary any of Republicans would be better than Trump.

According to the polls we are not behind
