This common question asked of every president who's had to face some kind of national crisis is one that every normal President loves to get because it gives him the chance to be both the Consoler and Cheerleader-in-Chief. It gives him the opportunity to encourage the country to both take precautions, be united and optimistic that the country will overcome the threat. But not Donnie-Me-Me-Me-Dirtbag. The question comes up at the 2 min. mark of this video:

Of course, the other thing he did was jump on this hydroxychloroquine drug prematurely. He says he's not being "overly" pessimistic or optimistic about it but he should not have been talking about it at all. Despite him thinking he's as smart as any doctor (see malignant narcissism) , he is not. He brought it up when he should have shut up --- but he can't not pass up a chance to be in the limelight when a rational president would have deferred any discussion of the drug to the doctors. In short he's just one massive ****-up of first order.

Easily explained: he's a complete candy-ass *****, transparently unfit for the office, who can't even recognize a softball when it's pitched to him so that he could saying something inspiring.

Sad that we have such an easily triggered little bitch as POTUS.

Trump is right.

This reporter was trying to raise fears. Trump tried over and over to remain hopeful without us knowing if the drug will work or not. "We'll see what happens."

But the reporter wouldn't let it go. That's why Trump told him he was a terrible reporter.

There's a rock solid difference between being hopeful and just spreading disinformation, which he has done since this crisis began. When the experts are saying it'll be 12-18 months before there's a vaccine and he's telling people on TV there'll be one in a few months, against all evidence, he's just flat out lying.

Trump was certain to lash out at someone during these (now) daily pressers.

It just happened to be NBC’s White House Correspondent Peter Alexander.

As always, Trump acted like a putz.

Sad that we have such an easily triggered little bitch as POTUS.

The sad part is that his base decide this was the best person to represent their values and principles. This is what Conservative America has become under the leadership of Reagan, Alex Jones, Hannity, Trump, Huckabee, Falwell, etc.

thanks to you and the OP for referring to that reporter's question as a softball
clearly, it was
unfortunately, tRump swung and missed

the fellow was asking what tRump would say to the millions of citizens who are fearful about this pandemic
it was the perfect opportunity for a president to acknowledge the unique situation and to then describe all the things government is doing to address the problem while reminding of the need for citizens to continue to cooperate despite the inconvenience of social distancing

but tRump knows he has under-performed (melania says he should be used to it)
and he lashed out at the reporter under the presumption the question was criticizing the administration for citizens being fearful

kudos to Kaitlan Collins for having the balls to question tRump about why he went after Alexander for asking a legitimate question

Trump is a deeply insecure, septuagenarian man boy easily triggered by any question or comment that vaguely implies even the slightest amount of responsibility on his part.

He’s a punk.

There is literally ****ing nothing you won't give Your Dear Dirtbag a pass on. Meanwhile, you continue to hide (or avoid giving to me at least) the sources you claimed yesterday for SARS-Cov-2 as well as the source for the lie about deaths that Dems "hope for." Piles of dog-**** have more credibility than you cultists.

Look, Trump says there's a vaccine, so there is one. Why isn't everyone lining up to get it? It clearly exists! Trump is nevet wrong!

LOL...the entire respose team are a bunch of liars now. :lamo

People like yourself are more of a danger than the likes of Trump.

And no......I don't like Trump just in case you want to parrot your usual and predictable cult response.

Since when is telling people that a possible solution might or might not work..."We'll see what happens."..."spreading disinformation"?

Seriously...quit spinning **** and making it up.

Yeah, the reporter should've been a good bootlicker and support the lies the orange man is spreading. "Everyone can get a test!" "15 cases soon to be zero!"

I just heard him tell a reported, "that's a nice question",. Isn't that special? I wonder if he's a plant from FOX. Telling reporters what questions are nice and which are nasty. What an immature thin skinned turd, but the icing on the cake? Give him a microphone, more he bloviates, the more Americans realize the danger he's put us all in...

Since it's always been a question for doctors to handle instead of lying moron rage-toddler narcissists. It's notable that no one asked Dirtbag about the drug but he had to wade in way over his head and get it in there. It's the same thing he did with the vaccine timeline--continuing to plant the idea the it could be a few months away despite the medicos correcting him time and time again that it's at least a year away for the general public--assumingthere's any successful vaccine at all by that time which he'a all but guaranteed us --against medical advice--that that will happen.

Is it a lie that we are hopeful about a possible cure?

Is it a lie that all Americans can get a test right now? Yes.

shrug...

I can get a test if I need it. Can't you?

In any case, you have tipped your nonexistent hand by deflecting.

You are dismissed. (see my sig)

he's such a horrible person.

his parents should have sent him to a real, decent church as a child.
