WASHINGTON – While seeking money to finance his campaign and pay his legal bills, Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday began hawking a unique product: The Bible.

Posting a sales video on his Truth Social platform, Trump said: "Happy Holy Week! Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible."

Trump's partner in this venture is musician Lee Greenwood, whose anthem "God Bless The USA" opens Trump's political rallies.

Blasphemy is the act of showing disrespect to God or something holy, or saying or doing something that shows this disrespect. It can also refer to offensive ideas in other areas. For example, blasphemy can include: Saying something bad about a god, Taking the Lord's name in vain, Questioning a religious institution, and Insulting something sacred.

And yet Evangelicals will lap this up despite its blatancy.

In afternoon trading, shares were up 45% to $72.48. That implies a valuation of about $9 billion for the company. To put that in context, Trump Media is now worth more than New York Times Co., which is worth about $7.1 billion. Donald Trump‘s more than 58% stake in DJT is worth about $5.2 billion.

You have to appreciate the irony of Trump going from selling "Make America Great Again" hats made in china, to $2 bills, to gold shoes, to Bibles to raise money.

It isn’t that Trump is trying to make money. It’s the crass and cynical way he goes about it. Always trying to exploit the nieve nature of his supporters would do.

So I guess DJT 45 recently watched O Brother Where Art Thou and was inspired by John Goodman's performance as Big Dan Teague!
 
I hope is Bible sales effort is a great success.

Let us hope the Trump supporters spend lavishly on Trump shoes, Trump NFTs, Trump Bibles etc. spend vast sums of money on traveling and attending Trump rallies or just give all their money to Donald Trump legal fund and not waste their money on supporting the political campaigns of MEGA Republicans. We should rejoice that Trump has taken over the Republican Party at the national level. I hope his team finds a legal way to divert all the money of the Republican party to support his legal needs.
