Does Trump Hate America?

Because of his MAGA slogan, does Trump hate america?

Indeed. Now that he has bought and paid for an Attorney General who serves only him, and not the American people, Trump is pretty much home free on that front.

Eric Holder and his successor were pretty much jokes as well as being lapdogs for Obama

No most men whom are married and don't cheat love there wife and family more then themselves. And money is to take care of the family. Not to seek out power.

That is so conservative of you :p

Since the beginning, Trump's slogan has been 'Make American Great Again.' That is basically saying that Trump-- at some point--didn't believe that America was great. That it had lost its greatness. That it was lost and failing. That it basically sucked ass. Because of this, I cannot help but believe that Trump hates America. That is the only logical conclusion in my view. What do you say?

So by your logic, by virtue of at least recognizing that at some point America was great Trump loves America more than any Democrat that would ask "When was America ever great?".

Trump: Democrats hate America
Democrats: No, You hate America!
Trump: MAGA!
Democrats: When was America ever great!?!

Trump seems to have knack for placing rakes in the grass for Democrats to step on.

That's your "logical conclusion"? Dear God.

MAGA vs. "fundamentally transform America".

Give me the guy who wants America to strive for greatness any day.

Do you know the meaning of "great"?

Just because something isn't great, doesn't mean it sucks ass. Just because something is great, doesn't mean it's good.

Was the Great Depression good, or did it suck ass?

Your conclusion isn't very logical, at all.
They don't understand it's a mindset, not a certain date or year. In fact, we'd like the greatness with the Southern Democrat strategy, without Democrat Jim Crow, without Democrat segregation, without the Democrats' KKK.
I have to assume they don't know the history of Democrats.

Everybody's a fascist, to them.

The slogan make america great again was used many times by Ronald Reagan. The only original thoughts that Trump has are mostly negative. Does he hate America no, but he would love to keep it white.

that is changing the goal posts. I never said anything about cheating. If you don't think Bernie, and most others running for political office Do not seek power, than I believe you don't understand politicians

Wanting something to return to the better times it once enjoyed does not mean you hate it. Liberals, on the other hand, do hate America. They want to change everything up to and including renaming manhole covers in order to be politically correct.

Agreed. Wanting change for what you perceive as better shows care and admiration amongst other things.

Seems you just owned yourself.

If I'm not mistaken, when the democratic party started embracing civil rights and equality, the racist democrats, (mostly southern) jumped ship to the republican party where they remain to this very day. At least, I remember reading that somewhere. Sounds feasible.

Where or when the flip flop took place is debatable I suppose. But, generally speaking, the tentacles of racism seem to be embedded within the republican side of the nation, at this point in time. Not saying "all" just saying, between the two parties, the GOP is most likely to be branded the most racist, and rightly so.

“Questioning the greatness of America is anti-American”.

Big fat orange fake conservative, obviously just saying whatever Bull**** they’ll believe, up to and including molesting an American flag says America isn’t great and he and he alone can make it great again.

These people have the most superficial, surface level feeling of what they perceive to be patriotism and nationalism.

Granted the left and liberals sometimes act like America sucks as well, so.

As opposed to the Republican "Party of Lincoln" as it was to begin with, the one more liberal than the southern, conservative Democrats.

According to Trump and his loyal base of morons, he must hate America. He said it wasn't great. That means he hates America, according to his pathetically warped logic.

But of course, he's white, so he's forgiven.

I think - in fact I know - that Greece has lot its greatness. By your perverse, twisted and irrational brand of 'logic' that must mean that I HATE Greece. But I don't, quite the opposite.

Trump doesn't hate America, as long as rich people are in control, and pulling all strings.

I dont think they hate America, but many of their fellow Americans.

The facts indicate, with the exception of what is marginlaized as the "far left" the rest of the political spectrum, including democratic party leadership and MSM, are center, center right corporatists talking their own
book and passing that off somehow as doing the "peoples' business" or "fair and balanced" journalism.

CNN and MSNBC bend over backwards to appeal to center right independents and NT Bush republicans. Meanwhile, the Squad is serving their constituents much closer to their facts supported circumstances, or best interests, than possibly anyone else in the House or Senate and certainly anyone of this executive branch. And that has not changed materially with transfer of power from Bush to Obama to Trump, Boehner to Ryan, to Pelosi, or from Reed to Schumer. Blue dogs can be counted on to support corporatist interestts in lockstep and rob any potential of "the leftists" to have any hope of increasing their chances of passing progressive legislation that would serve the best intertests of the average person in their districts....

The phrase was also used in speeches by Bill Clinton during his 1992 presidential campaign; however, it was not a slogan of the campaign. Clinton also used the phrase in a radio commercial aired for Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential primary campaign.

Reagan used the phrase also as well as others. I guess, by your logic, all that use the phrase actually hate America.

And Trump's logic. I am sure you're aghast at how he treated the 4 Congresswomen and the NFL kneelers, right?

Christians support the republican party because the republican party is more friendly to Christian values than the ungodly politicians in the godless democrat party. Christians, unlike the ungodly, do not focus on people's color. They see all humans as brothers descended from Adam. I don't see so much ungodly racism in republicans as I do in democrats who seem obsessed with people's color and race. Even Pocohontas Warren went way out of bounds to try to present herself as a native American 'woman of color.' That sort of thing is plainly stupid.
